  • "All Terrain"
This wagon is sturdy, offers versatility, easy to put together, easy to pull, and a breeze to dump!

  • Very sturdy and easy to manuever.
I was able to assemble by myself with tools I already had. It holds a LOT (two regular bales of pine straw} and is so much more manageable than a three wheeled wheel barrow. Because this cart holds so much it saves me time and energy going back and forth to my supplies and the clean up of the garden is quicker. I would caution that even thought the cart is easy to pull, it may be too easy on a smooth incline like a driveway..will need to be pulled to the side to keep it from rolling on down the hill and possibly could overwhelm an elderly person in such a situation. But assuming you are not pulling down a driveway, it moves easily over rock, pebbles, grass...it is great! ... show more

  • Back Saver, made the job a lot easier
Large 1200lb capacity dump cart ... not smaller one BACK STORY. The first block raised bed I made about killed me. From where the blocks were unloaded, I had to carry each one for over 130 feet to where I was building the raised bed. Also carrying a 5 gallon buckets of dirt to fill it up was killing my hands and back. Being over 65 and only a 5 ft tall female, I needed a solution to make my job easier. I had a wheel barrel, but this wouldn't work due to the possibility of being easily tipped over when full if I made the slightest wrong move. I decided to buy this (600 lb capacity) Gorilla Dump Work Cart. PUTTING IT TOGETHER. I was impressed how the parts were heavy metal and coated with semi gloss black paint. The plastic tub was hard with a little give poly plastic. The tires have an air valve and were molded. The set of nuts, washers, and bolts were packaged listing each step for each set. This removed all the guess work trying to figure out what goes with what. Since I had only one adjustable wrench, I used an 1/2 inch nut driver instead. This worked great until I came to the last 3 bolts. They needed a larger nut driver. This left me no choice but to use the wrench for two of the bolt sets. It took longer and really chewed the nuts. The last bolt to attach the handle needs two wrenches. Since I only had one, I made do. Later will ask a neighbor to help finish tightening. The instructions were diagrams only. I am a visual learner so this was very easy to understand each step. FUNCTION. The poly tub can fit 8 (8"×8"×16") cement blocks standing upright on the ends or 8 if stacked. My weight limit was 5 pulling over 1/2" & 3/4" thick gravel. The heavy cart did not sink into the gravel and was easy to pull. It did not tip when I made a wide 90 degree turn. Backing up empty was a learning curve ... I found it easier just to lift into position to backup straight. This time I left one side of the raised bed unfinished so I could dump dirt inside the bed area. Sure beats carrying a 5 gallon buckets. When the area was too high to dump more dirt off. I just shoveled it out. The function of the dump handle took a couple tries to figure out, but it worked. OVERALL. I am impressed with the quality. I wanted the smaller size Gorrilla cart, but all the complaints of the tub bending and not very strong wouldn't work carrying cement blocks or hauling loads of dirt. This heavy duty dump cart so far is handling the job I needed it for with no complaints. It will be used for my next project of a front porch pony wall. Should I find any quality issues, I will update. ... show more

  • Sturdy and useful, but no backing up.
I've only had this a few weeks, but it's proven to be very useful and very sturdy. A few things I've found out about it: 1) The shipping time estimate from Ron's was way off. I ordered it on a Monday and delivery was estimated for 10 to 14 days later; I received it the Thursday after I ordered it, so 4 days, not much worse than the usual Amazon Prime. This is not a complaint, btw! 2) It was insanely easy to assemble, the only hitch being that you might need long arms to reach around the tub to both hold the bolt head still inside the cart and tighten the nut on the bottom of the cart at the same time. I have long arms - some might need a helper. Another set of hands would have simplified it. As others have pointed out, the use of carriage bolts was unnecessary as they would only strip out the square holes in the plastic tub; they are equipped with slots for a large Phillips screwdriver to tighten them properly, however, so no harm done. 3) If there is a way to back this thing up using your tractor, I haven't found it - and I have a lot of experience backing camp trailers, boats, utility trailers, and even an 18-wheeler (easiest of all except for visibility, really). Because the front axle on this wagon is designed to pivot in turns, any attempt to back up is an exercise in frustration - it just wants to go squirrely and jackknife, not back straight or turn as a normal trailer would. This makes it tougher to position for dumping. It might be nice to be able to lock the axle/hitch in the straight ahead position at times. 4) I hauled a load of dirt and bricks that was, conservatively estimated, around 500 lbs. It carried it easily, but while I could (just) lift it to dump, I had to stand on the front axle/frame to keep the whole front end from tilting up. Another disadvantage to a non-rigid hitch-to-frame assembly. It has a few idiosyncrasies. 5) I don't have a lot of thorns or cactus in my area, so the pneumatic tires are probably fine, and they roll over anything within reason. For those that do, there is a set of 2 solid, no-flat tires available on Amazon for around $53. At a Harbor Tool & Freight last weekend I noticed the same wheel/tire combo individually for around $23, and they often offer a 20% discount coupon. Just a thought. 6) At $151, I consider this cart a very good value. Of course, it went down $15 a couple days after I bought it, so it would have been an even better value. Sadly, that's fairly typical... Anyhow, don't hesitate to buy this if you need a good, sturdy cart that can handle some rough terrain - just be aware that it does not behave like the usual two-wheeled trailer. ... show more

  • Very nice cart with great features
The product arrived with the package in such bad condition I thought sure there would be a problem with damage or missing parts. I was wrong the cart was packed so well inside that there was no problem. Assembly was relatively easy and took less than an hour. Everything about the cart is heavy duty right down to the tires. As described it pull and handles easy even when loaded. It turns on a dime and the dump function works perfectly and saves on the back If you're looking for a garden cart don't waste your money on something cheaper. Buy this one and you won't be sorry. ... show more
