3/29/23 Update iCarsoft stopped working even after re installing software. Hudge waste of money. Beware! Steering Angle sensor software does not let you reset sensor calibration. Also, iCarsoft does not get back with you if you email them. waste of money for Subaru even when updating the software. Does read live data fine but the Service software is not vehicle specific. Scan tool is a waste of time. Due too it says that it can reset your oil light but it really doesn’t. It just gives you the directions on how to reset your oil light. Overall it’s a good tool to check every thing else.

    • It didn't make a connection with my car
The product gave me the ODVII codes correctly and I fixed my car passing the inspection but it couldn't connect with my car for the diagnostic. I tried to contact the company that sold me the product ( Quick Ship Auto Parts) and they didn't respond to my message

This might have been a 3 star review but I contacted their support 2 weeks ago via e-mail and they never responded. And their phone has also gone straight to voicemail for 2 weeks So expect 0 support if you run into issues. Although this is supposed to be the updated 2021 version it could not connect to my 2020 Honda fit TPMS system. And although it could reset the airbag light it showed there was no aigbag light code. This was after updating all the software online using the offical tool on icarsofts site. Granted this tool did okay with basic OBD reading, but you can get $20 OBD readers with the same lack of support. I would not recommend this to anyone. Since even if it suits your needs if it breaks within the warranty period I doubt you would get any support or replacement. ... show more

The scanner feels solid. The build quality is great. It can talk with many subsystems on my 2006 Lexus GX470. Anyone that has a Japanese car has to have one for sure!
