I have had the same Land Rover Discovery II, since new, for 16 years. I am a bit of a fan, a bit of a mechanic (of necessity), and active on land rover forums. This little device does exactly as it claims. I think it is a little harder than my regular scanner to use for general codes, but the information it yields is more accurate. The real selling point for this device is that it does, in fact, specifically diagnose ABS and SRS codes. It works. It tells you exactly what is wrong and, after you fix it, resets the codes. This, alone, makes it worth more than it costs if you have had either issue. I have spent more on little parts trying to find the problem with my ABS than this scanner costs... far more. It is a money saver and if you have an older Land Rover Discovery II and don't spend time and money at dealerships by choice, you should have this on hand. ... show more

2000 Jag SType V6. Just got the trans. Rebuilt. Check engine comes on.. the Zone couldn’t even get the VIN so I started research. Out of 2 I could afford o lichee this one & for once I chose right.. After plugging in & a few clicks. Boom!, code was like a misfire. Erased it with this unit. Dealer woulda charged at least $175. If you own a Jag that fits in the i930’s bank.. it is a must have. Small enough to carry with you in the glove box. Was a bit of a learning curve to navigate the menus but it does a lot. Clears any code I've had on my 03 Discovery2. Decent product for the price.

This scanner was such a blessing and as a disco 2 owner I should have bought this before the vehicle. Easy to use and the cost are the greatest features. As stated you can read and clear codes. Helped me to locate my 3 amigos issues and end them. Also helped me locate a miss on a cylinder. As said no Discovery owner should leave home with out it. Very disappointed, won't work on a 2022 Mercedes Benz Sprinter despite the fact that in the description states that it supports that make and model. Won't do a simple service/oil change light reset. Work seamlessly on a 2017 Ford f150, however after just one day of my return window the screen went bad and for some reason the app won't let me post the picture of the bad screen ... show more

I just received this scanner to use on my Land Rover Discovery II, I needed to clear some ABS codes associated with the "Three Amigos". This tool was able access all systems and clear my ABS codes! I had performed a number of recommended repairs to correct this problem and had read conflicting write ups about this system clearing codes once corrected. This is not true and a decent scanner is needed to perform this procedure. There are a few options available for Land Rovers, some that only cover the basics to the "Test Book" that the dealership uses, Big $$$. I think this is a great option for the do it yourself guy or gal to check and diagnose issues that are Land Rover specific. ... show more
