    • It great and sturdy but not very portable
UPDATE: still going strong! Will be buying another This great if your just having it stay in one vehicle. I’m a delivery driver so I don’t always drive the same vehicle for every route. This thing works great once you get it on but good luck when it comes to pulling it off. It’s super glued on there. It has the suction cup them on the inside of that is a piece of 3m that is super sticky you won’t even have to worry about your tablet coming off while your driving because it’s that strong but when I try and remove it after my shift I have a hard time. It’s been through about 20 removals in the months that I’ve had it. The 3m tape is starting to peel off on the inside and I am scared all suction will be lost if this piece of tape is lost it seems to be reuse-able because I always just stick it back on and it makes it through another use. Don’t seem very economical to buy 10 of these for each vehicle in my fleet, so we will see how long this last. ... show more

    • 'Okay' mount depending on your use.
I bought this mount to hold my company Ipad. I do a lot of driving and was looking for a good hands free mount so I can display maps on my Ipad without having to look down constantly. I mounted this unit on the small window to the left of the steering wheel in my work van. The suction is great, no issue there. The issue is that there is only one tightening bolt that tightes both the swivel behind the clip itself, and the arm of the mount. This makes it so that you can only tighten the mount so much in the position you want it, and what happens is that if you are driving on even a remotely bumpy road, the arm cannot hold the weight of the Ipad and starts to droop more and more every little bump you hit, which leads to me constantly having to adjust the mount while I'm driving. This kinda defeats the purpose of having it. And I'm not driving on some back country roads, it's literally all city driving. The quality of the product isn't that great either, so even when you tigthen down the bolt to secure the bracket in position, it loosens over time. This would be a decent product for holding a phone, or something that weighs less than an Ipad, but as it stands now it's just not built well enough to hold an Ipad sturdily without the bracket moving out of position while driving. ... show more

I can confirm that the suction power of this device is really good. I am using it to hold my Samsung tablet for navigation in my Vanderhall...and it sticks really well. 10 of 10 on the suction power.

    • Works well to hold an iPad on a Cessna windshield
I use this to hold my iPad while flying a Cessna. It holds it steady and I can adjust it the far left side of the windshield, so it does not block instruments. I preferred to try this over a yoke-mount and I'm glad I did. The only other option is to set the iPad in my lap, which was inconvenient and hard to see at times. The suction cup so far has held well and you can crank down to keep it from moving. You just have to be careful not to block instruments or to hit the yoke while flying, but I was able to accomplish both. Update: After about 10 uses, the suction cup stopped holding the iPad. It fell off during my last 2 flights. I washed the suction cup off with warm water and it works great again. No complaints...just need to keep it clean. ... show more
