No regrets. I bought this to mount with a ProClip mount designed for my car. The combination works great. As for the iBolt miniPro, it comes with the nuts and bolts required to mount to any standard AMPS surface. The iBolt holds the Note 8 tightly in a vertical/portrait position. I use a very thin case, and the iBolt miniPro has plenty of room for a larger phone. I was concerned about the ball mount before I purchased, but it seems to be holding up well and does not let the phone sag even on bumpy roads. Yet I can rotate the mount on the ball if I want to switch to the horizontal/landscape position. ... show more

I bought this model because it was as close as I could find to an old favorite mount that I used to have. I'm still getting used to the spring clamp and am not sure whether the flexible rubber edges will last. It has worked great so far, though. The two different sized mounting plates are great. I used the small one, knowing that I can switch to the HD version if the mini plate doesn't work out. Again, so far so good! This holds a tire pressure monitor screen solidly in my class A motorhome. Suction cup mounts don’t work. This mount is highly adjustable and very solid. I can position it to be in my line of sight and out of the glare from side windows.

I mounted with the double stick pads that were included and it is solid on my riding mower and on my tractor. I just move the part that holds the phone from one to the other. I might buy another unit so I don't have to move it. It comes with a large and smaller mount and screws if you want to punch some holes in whatever you want to attach it too. Works great with my Iphone 11 which has a normal protective case on it. Well worth the money especially if you do not want to drill holes. ... show more

Seems to be made fairly well and durable. It should be noted, if you mount this to a horizontal surface, you cannot rotate the cradle to show the screen vertically. You would need to mount this on either an angled surface or vertically if you want this situated close to eye level on your dashboard. The 3M adhesive tape does stick very well. I have not mounted the base that uses the bolts yet, but the smaller base seems pretty secure holding up my Galaxy Note 8. ... show more
