    • Beautiful sound and playability that won't break the bank
I went to the Guitar Center looking for an entry level banjo and was surprised at just how nice this was. Easy to play, up and down the neck, the action was perfect. The sound is beautiful. Except for a few minor differences, I think it's practically the same instrument as the B-200. It sounds better, more mellow to me. And better to me than even some far more expensive banjos made by other brands that were in the store. It's a beautiful well-built instrument and I would be hard-pressed to find another as nicely made that includes a resonator for under 300.00. I didn't want to take any chances with anything less expensive that may not play as well all the way up the neck. I really believe that this is among the best entry-level banjos in this price range so I bought one for my daughter. Will update after 6 months. ... show more
