    • Great sound but needs filter

Wanted to start making videos and my headset mic wasn’t cutting it. This mic seemed like a good cross between functionality and affordability so I gave it a try. It sounds so much better, but like every mic you’re going to want a cover or pop filter for it. Kind of irritating it doesn’t come with one but minor nitpick. Set up is easy, just take out of the box and hook up to the PC via USB. Had no problem with the pc recognizing it. One weird thing is that it unmutes itself when the computer goes to sleep. I’m not sure why. Haven’t been able to figure that out so I just unplug it when I’m done. Minor thing and could be some weird settings on my computer but still annoying. The mic has a red light when it’s on though so it’s easy to see when it’s active. The quality of sound is really good, it picks up sound so well I had to put a filter on to keep out the AC noise. It’s not that hyper clear super close up warm sound you get with high end mics, but this is perfectly fine quality for most hobbyists, amateurs, or even if you’re just looking for something better than your gaming headset mic. I have been using this microphone for over a month now and I am amazed the clear sound it has. Note that is not premium audio device and does not have pop filter or shock mount so if you are planning to record music or podcast this microphone is not for you. Otherwise it is good. The build quality is good. Its made of metal. Touch mute button is sensitive and accurate. The reason I am giving 4/5 is the software. It randomly lowers sensitivty. Also microphone design is exeptionally good. You can rotate it they way you want to. Also, you can change cheap cable it comes with, because on the back it has type-c port. You can simply plug the microphone in and you are good to go, so... + points for it. In conlusion the mic is good and deffinetly worth buying. ... show more

Good quality entry level mic, the only issue is finding a good enough stand, pop filter and other accessories for it that aren't shoddy and low end. Other than that though, the actual mic quality is very clean, clear and crisp.
