Besides the skinny thingd they call wheels this is a fanomal bike it is a pedal assist only I was confused about that at the start didn't see a throttle kinda freaked out thought I got scammed I didn't it's got good speed good battery incredibly easy to setup you don't need any of the instructions it's basically like setting up a regular bike just takes some common sense would recommend if you never owned a ebike before this is a great starter bike I love how the battery is inside the frame not outside and wobbling around and it may look fragile but you can beat on it a little bit not a lot the shocks it has are great the only flaw and the one and ONLY is the seat def not built for someone with a bony but and to confirm I am 6'6 193 lbs and it's moving to and from work with no issues ... show more

    • Good for moderate to short distances
I purchased this bike almost a year ago now and I enjoy it. The bike does what it says and it's a comfortable ride. Battery life is why I am giving this a 4 star rating the battery is not amazing but it is not horrible if you are looking for roughly an hour and a half of biking on the medium battery setting you will get it. I weigh 235lbs which actually is heavier then the recommended weight so maybe that plays a part in the battery life. On the third power level I can reach 19mph pretty easily on flat terrain, but the battery dies quickly on this setting. I can get roughly 35 to 40 minutes of use on the 3rd power setting. I do not like the fact the bike is pedal assist only I would like it better if there were a throttle instead. Also do not think you will be riding in the first power mode because that is basically no different then a regular bike so unless your riding specifically to save power you'll never use this. Riding with the motor off it's also not enjoyable the bike is very heavy and you will not be going very far with no assist but it is doable if your looking for a workout. Assembly of the bike was pretty easy but be aware that you will need your own tools the bike does not come with any tools. If your looking for a nice little electric bike to ride around town for relatively short trips this bike will be great for you but you won't be taking it on extended rides or at least not with electric assist the whole way. With all of that said for my purposes I do enjoy the bike it's under $800 so really all the battery life issues are to be expected and the power of the motor is sufficient for the price. ... show more

    • A great running and riding e bike. It is beautiful and this is great value e bike.
I am 285 lbs and this e bike handles me without trouble. It rides great and runs great. I ride it 20 + miles a day in Florida. It never runs out of power. I ride about everyday while in Florida. I put on a huge seat and have 800 miles on mine. I love the swept back handle bars and the carrier in the rear. It charges in about 4 hours. This ebike is built strong and I have hit curbs and holes and no issues. A great value for your money and great looking e bike. I strongly recommend this e bike. I am 71 years old and I find this bike a great value. ... show more

    • The motor stopped working
The bike worked fine for the first few days, then the motor stopped working. The control panel and the battery turns on without any issue, but the motor will not engage. Will return it. UPDATE: BIG WARNING IF YOU BUY IT from Hall of Fame Sports Memorabilia: They refuse to pay for the return cost since it is a "hazmat shipment because of the battery." Shipping it by UPS ground will cost you $250+; USPS refuses to ship it and FedEx ground asks for $370+. Their customer service guy, kyle, blatantly lies on their review page that "We offered 2 ship a new battery, 2 send someone 2 fix the issue, 2 send replacement" which NONE of that was offered to me (not to mention that this guy writes like an illiterate kid)!! There are many other customers with the same complaint on their review page, and none of them were able to return it. Those people are scammers. Don't buy from them. ... show more

I’m 5’ and it’s perfect for short women! I love everything about it! I’m in my mid 50’s and by balance isn’t that great from a past strike but this bike is stable and easy to handle. I’ve had it for about a year. I did replace the seat because I like a bigger base more cushioning as I have a bigger base and more cushioning lol I also had thorn proof tubes put in as I live in the desert and goat heads are brutal ... show more

This bike is just what I was looking for- size, price, color, battery details and step through. Have not done much riding yet. Feels a bit bigger and heavier than I thought it would be. I think it will be fine after some practice. My son, who is bike savvy, assembled without difficulty and it is a beautiful bike. There was a bag in the box that said- open first; it was empty. Delivery in one week- early. There was a tag on the bike that said $598. I paid $698. I reported this and requested a $100 refund but have not gotten a response yet. Overall- very pleased but would like a response about price. ... show more

Wrecked my ebike, bent the tire rim. Built really sturdy but Im a big guy. Looked for 2 weeks online trying to find replacement, not cheap. Finally called Hyper, 20 bucks and they shipped wheel to me in Florida and received replacement same week. Just wow! Thanks Hyper. Great bike! Better company.
