tank was set up without a problem. connections were easy - tank looked great, shortly after the lights on the tank began to flash on and off and the heater went haywire - the temperature would display random icons on the screen. I contacted the seller but never received a response back within a timely manner. The tank started to make a strange sound. Contacted Amazon, was refunded the money on my credit card. Went to another vendor and purchased a tank without an issue- would not recommend especially for the novice collector !

The media could not be loaded. TLDR: I cover my opinions in more detail in the video. But all in all, I think it's worth the cost. Been running at least 2 weeks I think? I feel it's expensive, but that I paid for both convenience of all-in-one tank, just add water, fish and decor, and an extra cost for quality automation. I find the construction to be efficient quality, it's not the best money could buy, but it is way better than what most fish enthusiasts will need. Like if you're a parent investing in fish for the kids but don't want to struggle with loads of research or even just worry if you remembered to feed the fish- get this tank. It takes a lot of the work out of planning a tank. Nose level is mild at my pump set up, but I believe the higher waterlevel set up is quieter than what I'm running. Super useful designs with automation and just the physical aspects of making everything compact, so the smaller tank design doesn't suffer with less fish space due to a large or bulky set up. For those of us who love planning a tank build and comparing fish biome preferences the automatic heating unit that adjusts to the temp, which is read between the heater and the light source, accommodating the increase in temp from the light with usually only up to 1 degree off. It's super nice. I can also leave for a vacation without need of someone to feed the fish. (Though they won't get as much fresh frozen foods!) So even the average hobbyist could appreciate this as a nursery like I have, a shrimp tank, a small fish tank, or even a plant tank! UV light filter is very helpful for keeping the water healthy, as well as the physical filter, but also noticed the installed light seems to grow plants really well! I intend to add in a simple Fluval C02 system eventually, but so far the plants haven't needed it yet! (Though my Dwarf hair grass seeds have been slow to grow, so not sure yet if it needs more light or they are just slow to seed.) DO NOT MISPLACE YOUR MANUAL BEFORE LEARNING HOW TO SET UP 24 HOUR LIGHT. (Hehe! That's been the only thing I couldn't figure out, but the feeder I got to work. And knowing what the pump settings stand for would be nice- but 90% sure P1 is a softer current than P3... pretty sure! Probably gonna buy the bigger version down the road when I want more fish! And always happy to share updates as plants grow or as I stock the tank with shrimp and other tiny fish! Probably sticking to the tiny Tetra families with the shrimp or just shrimp with fry and continue to use it as a nursery as I catch babies in my bigger tanks!

It is good for the price as it comes with everything- lights, filter, heater, automatic feeder. It was easy to set up and generally not difficult to program the electronical parts of the tank. In terms of draw backs even on the lowest setting the filter output is a bit high for my liking. The BIGGEST issue I have had is that the surface skimmer/filter unit has killed at least 1 fish of mine. The surface skimmer hole into the filter can pull the fish in resulting in the filter unit chopping the fish up. I have lost at least 1 female betta fish to this (more than likely 2). I had a small female betta fish simply disappear out of the tank overnight (really no way to jump out), I thought it was weird that there was nothing of her in the tank but there are 4 harlequin Rasboras and 1 cherry shrimp so maybe they completely ate her. But a few weeks later I got got a bigger female betta fish and as she was new to the tank I was watching more closely and while I was in my room but not looking at the tank I heard a weird noise and went over..poof no betta. I quickly ended up taking the entire filter setup apart and I found her dead in the submersible pump part of the unit all cut up. Before I get any additional fish I will be getting something to cover the skimmer part of the tank. Overall the tank is not bad for the price just needs some additional items for fish comfortability and safety.

We bought this tank because of the convenience of the integrated controls and systems PLUS it states in the vey title that it is for Bettas. Unfortunately, we ignored the other reviews. The current even on the very lowest setting is WAY too strong for Bettas. It will tire them out and kill them. Even for other fish, the current is way too strong. Great concept, but terrible execution both in system design and the execution of our Betta.

Since this product doesn’t have a lot of reviews I wanted to post mine. I reserve the right to change it if things change the longer I have the tank. First it came packaged very well. I always worry about shipping glass items but the box and packaging was very sturdy. Set up was very simple and each component had a separate connection so you don’t have to hook up the heater or the UV light if you don’t want too. You can change the setting for the lights but I am using the preprogrammed 24 hr setting as it is very similar to what I was already using. This tank is replacing an existing 10 galling that had similar components but all separate. The compact design give my fish much more swimming room. It is a little shorter than my old 10 gallon but taller. I think the fish like the vertical room. I know some people complained about the flow being too strong, but on the highest setting it’s about the same as my other tank. The fish do not seem bothered. My tank is planted so I’m waiting to see if the light keep my plants alive. I do not run CO2, just low tech plants. I’ll be very sad if I can’t keep the plants alive. I have high hopes for this tank. My fingers are crossed for no long term problems. Note: I painted the back and sides and I like that look, it doesn’t come that way
