The media could not be loaded. Purchased this hose on 10/14/23. Original hose burst but HydroTech replaced it with ease. That replacement lasted a couple months and just stopped working. Could not get any water to come out of it. Again HydroTech replaced it no problems. My 3rd hose just started to leak! This time HydroTech said they will not replace it due to I purchased the hose from an unauthorized seller Heartshire. Not sure why HydroTech replaced the hose twice already? Sounds like a loophole (pun intended) in their 10 warranty. Overall the hose is junk anyways. Once you use it for a few months the water cuts off on it's own then a few seconds later it comes back on. Every hose, original and both replacements, did this. Only reason I stuck with it is the pressure is so much better than a 1/2" version but the flaws in the hose don't make it worth the extra water pressure. ... show more

I really want to love this hose, I love the idea, but this is the 2nd time the plastic connector on the inside broke. First time it lasted 8 months, this time it lasted 8 days. The water was turned on, but the hose was not in use by anyone, it just burst open, blowing water everywhere. I hope they can redesign this without the cheap plastic. ... show more

I purchased this hose because of a recommendation from a friend. Compared to lugging around a heavy duty 5/8 hose, this is really nice and comfortable. I like the fact that it has a ball valve on the handle. Stepping on the hose or pinching it cuts off water fairly easily. Not a big deal but that's why I gave it a four instead of a five. I haven't had it long. I'm hoping it holds up well to Florida punishment. I don't have time to bring my hose in every time I use it. I'm not sure how the rubber tubing will survive in the heat. Similar to what others have posted, the female connector and hose is attached using a large plastic body that fails after limited use. Mine failed on the second use and luckily was within the 30 day window. I opted to exchange the item as I really like the flow rate, but after reading reviews here and seeing that others have had the same failure, I am not hopeful. They do have a 10 year warranty though, so giving it 2-stars. ... show more
