I didn't like the advertising that the ordered amount of grass seed would cover 1000 square feet. It barely cover 600 square feet. Also very little grass has sprung up and the applicator didn't spray the way it was advertised . I purchase alot through Amazon and for the most part I've been very satisfied.     • Trying something that birds won’t eat..
Applied hydro seed yesterday evening in a area where the sun continuously beams so it’s really try and sandy looking. I used a rake to remove leftover hay from laying seed and a manual tiller/ cultivator tool after watering the ground and allowing it to dry up some. For starters it does not cover the amount of ground it claims but I used it on high seed and for what did come out it’s seemed the seeds were coated and so was the ground so I could tell where it’s at. I watch for birds and as desired, the birds flew around it never directly on it or trying to eat the seed which for me is a huge plus! Because of the area I chose to put it in I have to water it every 4-5 hours or so. When I purchased the kit I also purchased a refill but I think I will go a less expensive route and get grass seed and the liquid coating instead of the $28 refills. I watched several videos and within a month or 2 ppl were happy with the results so I’ll have a follow up review in 4 weeks. Update: It didn’t work. I will say I used it in a high sun area and the dirt was like sand but I watered it 4 times a day and even bought timers for my water sprinklers, but on the end I ended up having Kentucky blue sod installed.     • This stuff is garbage
I wasted my money on 2 bottles of this and not a single blade of grass grew I went and bought the Scots turf builder and in 2 days I have one inch grass so this stuff is garbage don't waste your money.
