I'm always hesitant to leave five-star reviews, since people are usually looking for the negative issues when they read reviews, and they skip over those with five stars, but there is nothing negative to say about these mattress covers! This most-recent purchase was the third time I've bought these (only the second from Amazon, the other was with the purchase of a mattress, locally). The only reason for duplicates is because they have been for different beds -- I still have and use my first set. *They are quiet* -- They are so quiet that I had to check to make sure I hadn't taken them back off my bed. *They are durable* -- I've lost count of the number of washings the earliest set has gone through, but it shows no sign of needing to be replaced yet. *They have deep pockets* -- I won't bore you with measurements, but I was surprised by how well they fit everything. Super easy to install. *They are not overpriced* -- Yay! *They do the job* -- The cat had a hairball and left a wet mess on top of the sheet that was over these covers. That mess did not soak through, even though it was over eight hours before it was noticed. *Sustainable materials* -- Not everyone cares, but for those who do, it's nice to see that the company pays attention to what they are using and how it impacts our world. One piece of advice for those who get these (or any similar product, actually) is to wash them separately from your bedding or other items. This is because the waterproof nature of these covers makes the spin cycle of the washer less efficient, and you might question if your washer is working correctly when everything else comes out damper than normal. This is not something that could or should be fixed in the design.

Just received and it seems to be good. Easy to slip on my queen that’s measures at 13.5 . It did have a smell but I threw it in the washer n it went away, held up good in the dryer as well. It is thin. The waterproof protection is on the top, the sides are like a see through mesh, that’s not waterproof. The pad is soft and it doesn’t make that crinkly noise like other pads. I did do the water test on the pad n it didn’t go through. It puddles up, I smudged it onto the pad n it still didn’t go through . I have two little ones n I’m hoping this is the one. I have no complaints seems to be doing the job. I have ordered two already n no regrets.

I waited for several months of daily use before reviewing. I have an elderly cat who sometimes pees on the bed and this absolutely protects my mattress. (I just whip off the wet sheets, pat dry the protector if needed - there may be a puddle but it won't absorb at all.) Sturdy, doesn't tear. Washable. Doesn't make you sweat sleeping atop it. I wish I'd had this on my kid's bed when was tiny!

The waterproof aspect has been put to the test, and has.held up well so far! Puke, milk, water, juice, you name it, my kid has probably spilled it on the bed. They wash and dry well, as they don't seem to hold any excess water after soaking. The elastic is adequate, easy to put on. The fabric on the sides also is holding up well, no rips/runs yet. We have them in multiple sizes and will definitely purchase again!
