Totally transparent, only used my Husqvarna weed wacker a couple of times. I bought the Husqvarna (leaf blower) (chain saw) and now the (weed wacker) I love the quality of the Husqvarna line. All my tools are battery operated, and I'm very impressed with the power, lack of noise, and the versatility and adjustability of all the Husqvarna line. I read other reviews that the battery did not last that long. I find that is not the battery but rather a goofy sensor that thinks it is over heating. So I can work for about 2 minutes then the unit shuts down. And I have to sit and wait a bit then I can use it a bit more. Not recommended. The husky chain saw is great. This item sucks. Unfortunately I cannot return it and am stuck with a piece of junk. Update... Husqvarana told me to take it in for warranty service. They (B&B small engine repair) had it for about 5 weeks and finally said it was ready. They said they could not find anything wrong. I tried it when I got home and it still fails. DO NOT BUY! ... show more

Works well if you get the supposed included battery. The replacement battery came with the dreaded 2022 date code. That explains the 100 dollar coupon. I am getting a replacement from Husqvarna.

This unit is powerful and does not need to apologize when compared to gas-powered models. It operates for a sufficient amount of time with the included battery, although it's never quite long enough. The cost of purchasing additional batteries at full price makes it a poor investment, and waiting over two hours for a recharge is hardly practical. I do appreciate the trimmer's reversible rotation and its strength. However, like many companies, they prioritize shareholder interests, creating scenarios that encourage consumers to spend more to achieve what should have been included initially—affordable additional batteries or a faster 35-minute charger. Corporations and their overpaid CEOs seem more concerned about profit than the consumer experience, often without any second thoughts. ... show more

Husqvarna WeedEater 320iL -vs- Makita XUX02SM1X3 w/ Blower Attachment. This Husqvarna is AWESOME !!! I purchased this Husqvarna and the Makita XUX02SM1X3 direct from Amazon and NOT a 3rd party seller. So both were sold by and shipped from Amazon. Both were comparable in price and voltage and amps are identical and both have two speeds. This review is based on a first time single use and the specific two weed eaters units that I received and also my first experience with battery powered weed eaters. I used the Husqvarna first and was immediately impressed by how smooth and powerful it was. The Husqvarna also has a wider area of cut than the Makita and also on the you can reverse the rotation of the head which is a nice feature in certain applications EX. if you are weed eating around cars or people or if you like, or need to, change your direction of walk foreword or backward. The "bump head" on the Husqvarna is also a little wide and flat which allows it to "glide" easier over the ground because it stays level much better that the Makita which has a more conventional smaller rounded bump head which seems to cause it to slightly tilt if you hit an uneven spot in the ground from something like a mole mound. So then I went to the back yard to test the Makita and immediately saw the difference in power. I only used the Makita for about 5 minutes because I was so impressed with the Husqvarna. The Makita just does not have the power as the Husqvarna. I'm not saying the Makita is a bad wee weed eater, its just not, in my opinion, in any way comparable to the Husqvarna. I do however really like the Makita blower attachment because its just fun to use but the Husqvarna IS BETTER HANDS DOWN with the task of weed-eating! I have an average size yard and I was able to get it all done on one charge. I was just so impressed by this weedeater that I was weedeating areas that I normally use my mower on - its just fun to use! ... show more

Great little weedeater. Has plenty of juice to finish a 1 acre property. Battery charges in a few hours. I can't compare to gas, has less power even at fully charged Battery. And when Battery runs low it limits the top end even with turbo mode on. But great features, reverse turn and light weight. Would recommend for the average homeowner. ... show more
