Totally transparent, only used my Husqvarna weed wacker a couple of times. I bought the Husqvarna (leaf blower) (chain saw) and now the (weed wacker) I love the quality of the Husqvarna line. All my tools are battery operated, and I'm very impressed with the power, lack of noise, and the versatility and adjustability of all the Husqvarna line. I’ve used this about 5-6 times now and So far this is working out really well. I tried another brand from box giant and returned after one use. It was noisy and off balanced. The Husky is better balanced and MUCH quieter by comparison. I’m in a residential home with moderate amounts of trimming and this works great for that. Variable speed trigger lets me slow it down in tight spots and trimming up against hard stuff and super quiet in that half speed mode. Full speed still surprisingly quiet has plenty of power for average stuff. I’m sure battery usage will diminish over time but so far I’m able to do about an hour of trimming on what appears to be about 50% battery use. I consider this one a keeper ... show more

Old batteries. Read the one star reviews. Worked great out of the box. I didn’t notice the battery is from 2022. Then it started quitting noticeably sooner than before and now it can’t run for 2 min on a full charge. The warranty is only serviced at dealers. I’m not confident it will be replaced. Best cordless trimmer I have ever bought. I still use it to this day. Sometimes I have issue with the string coming loose, from impact with hard surfaces, but I learned that gently twisting the trimmer head clockwise, helps to “lock” it in place.

Spoiler, I have only used the trimmer for 10 minutes and am deciding whether to keep it or not. The trimmer itself is decent, seems to have good power, and If the reviews are real the battery life should be good, but Husqvarna chooses not to provide details about battery size and performance like every other battery supplier on the planet does (albeit many of them are dishonest). The pole from the top to the head is a bit floppy/loose, and in 10 minutes of trimming, I had to disassemble the head (which can be done easily without tools) 3 times and manually extract more of the weak string provided with the unit. Try as I might, spinning either direction, I could only get the unit to feed one time. This would be less of a problem if the string was durable, but that I received is not. Husqvarna just dropped down a couple notched in my book of quality companies (they were near the top). Amazon offered me $50 to keep it so If I can get the pole tightened up I will install an aftermarket trimmer head and keep it. I will come back in a day or two and update this review with the results. << Update 9/5/23: I Installed a yardgear pivotrim hybrid trimmer head and trimmed my entire yard, which takes over 1 hour and uses 2+ 40V 2.5Ah batteries in my Kobalt 40V max trimmer. The trimmer is a about the minimum size/power I would want with this head but it is a beast once running! I finished the yard completely, which hadn’t been trimmed in 3 weeks, and the single battery was still going strong with no noticeable performance loss from an hour before when I started, I was amazed. Know that the head is not a direct fit for this trimmer which has a 15/32” shaft with a flat side, stepped down to an M10 thread. I had to do some mild machining on the head, make some spacers, make a custom nut, and disassemble the motor to tighten head onto shaft. Shame on Husqvarna for marketing the head as more than junk, but I accepted the $50 partial refund to keep it and now I have a boss trimmer>>. Still only 4 stars because the head it ships with is junk. ... show more

Stop looking and invest in Husky! Only Wed Easter that I could find with a clockwise and counter clockwise option. And the turbo is a beast! Great battery life, 1 hour plus. I have half acre with two buildings and always have battery power remaining! Also, cut a friends yard that’s 2 lots and easily trim in one setting! Purchased 2 months ago after a family member bought one. Then and I wouldn’t pick any other weed whacker! ... show more
