  • I absolutely Love it.
Did all my homework possible before purchasing. Going from a john deer d140 to this is like daylight and dark, from 8hr cut time to about 1 1/2hr, wow what to do with all the free time? From the time cut down to the blades I have yet to have to sharpen after 6 three acre yard cuts, with the d140 two cuts there trash. Do your homework here, become free, spend ya time enjoying life a little. Always keep in mind you get what you pay for, I feel this was one of the best purchases I could have made. Takes a bit getting use to far as turning but once you get you look back and realize your done. No brainer here. I highly recommend based on value, cut time, and the years of service. ... show more

  • FRAUDULENT PRODUCT
I have owned it since June 2020. I keep all my vehicles and equipment well maintained. Over the course of owning my home with some land I have discovered that ALL lawn and garden equipment is complete junk. I have owned this mower for three years. I have replaced the blades and spindles more times than I can count. They are constantly broke and the bolts that hold the bladed to the spindles strip out all the time. After a lot of troubleshooting I have diagnosed that the engine is COMPRESSION LOCKED (look it up on YouTube or Google). This is a very common problem with this engine and and nothing can be done by the end user to prevent it. A piece on the cam has snapped off and now the mower will not start. The cam needs to be replaced which means pulling the engine. Or paying a shop ~$1000 to do it. A new engine is about $1200. So really the only thing that makes sense is to do it myself. This lawnmower would be perfect for a 100ft x 100ft yard. It would probably have lasted 5 years. Briggs and Stratton/Intek engines are made of cheap Chinese plastic and metal. Garbage. Steer clear. ... show more

  • Not what I had hoped for
The price of this mower was excellent. Much less than a lesser mower of another brand. The 27 hp engine is very powerful and causes the mower to be a bit uncontrollable in some ways. The mower is not made for old people!! The mower rides like a tank with no springs. Coil springs would make this mower a much better piece of equipment. It definitely is best used on flat and level ground. I do not recommend it for older users. Would I buy it again? Probably would buy a Husqvarna with a lesser HP mower. ... show more

  • This is a great zero turn!
Fantastic zero turn, and easy delivery right to my driveway from a lift gate. Surprising because it’s a 61” deck! Started right up and have since put 4.5 hrs on it. It’s been phenomenal at handling my 3 acre yard, 3x since it’s purchase. Great experience and great seller!

  • Resubmission
Got the parts sent that I've been waiting on so we'll see how it runs once I get it fixed. Update: got the broken parts replaced and the tractor ran great the one time I cut my yard. Now the thing won't run besides on half choke and if the parking brake is released it takes off 100mph on its own!!! When this first happened I'm very lucky my children weren't around or there could have been some serious injuries!!! Contacted the seller yet again and hopefully they get me something new there is defined something seriously wrong with this machine. ... show more

  • Great purchase.
I bought this mower on line for my 64 year old mom and her property. So easy to do, price was good they dropped it in front yard. It does come in a crate and my husband did struggle a little breaking the crate apart but he has mowed 6 acres in 4 hours which normally take 8 to 10 hours. This mower was a great purchase. ... show more

  • No Suspension
The mower gives a good cut BUT the mower has no suspension so if your lawn is not pool table smooth and you are turning as careful as you can be.one of the rear wheels will spin and tear up a chunk of lawn.My lawn is destroyed from this mower its for sale next spring

  • briggs endurance commercial engine problem 30 hp
Husqvarna mzt-61 bought locally august,2013, if not for engine crankcase oil leak I would give a 5 star rating. mower still in great shape except for engine oil leak. This started after 3 years of use. local dealer was no help witih service, said leave mower for service,be prepared to leave it 3 months. this in the middle of grass cutting season. so I continued to cut grass, checking oil and basically adding 1/3 quart oil for every hour cutting. oil leaked onto deck seeming to come from crankcase gasket. I put socket on the bolts I could reach without pulling engine. found 5-6 I could tighten up 3/4-1 full turn. apparently no locktight to hold bolts tight. fast forward to winter 2020 in January I ordered a new crankcase engine oil gasket, pulled engine using chainhoist I rolled it over and removed all bolts, carefully pulled the bottom (equivalent to oil pan) crankcase reservoir, paying attention to oil pump fitting that turns the oil sump pump. watching out for 2 round rolled placement guides to insure line up of bottom to upper part of engine. the gasket was missing in places(had blown out or else was not put in correctl by factory briggs when moter was assembled. the replacement gasket was substantially thicker(1/16 inch I estimate vs, remants of orginal gasket less than a paper bag thickness, more like the thickness of wax paper from the kitchen. I replaced the gasket after cleaning carefully cleaning both mating surfaces , unfortunately after hooking engine up still leaking but this time around the oil pump cover held inplace by 2 special torq head screws and an O ring to prevent leaks. I ordered new drive shaft seal, O ring and 3 new screws. so pulled engine again, replace those parts. figured out how to replace carb springs and adjust governer. got put back together and it cranked and ran but I checked under mower after 5-10 minutes and pulled under shed and guess what still leaking oil. this has been a saga, Thank the Lord I am retired and enjoy fixing things, but this briggs oil leak is about to get to me as the spring warm up and grass grows unabated. I think I will have to buy a new zero turn mower and when I get my old one fixed either keep as a back up or sell and get maybe half my investment back because the mower , except for engine is great shape. I always thought Briggs/Stratton engine were tops and took first place in performance, upkeep, seldom needing work on the engine they would last and last. Unfortunately my experience with this briggs 30 hp engine has not achieved those high marks. ... show more
