This Jaden‘s folded thermal paper works great! Crispy clean most importantly it lays flat and doesn’t feel cheap. It is a little thinner than a standard copy paper. It has a matte finish. It is a little pricey for printer paper, but I don’t intend on using the thermal printer on an every day use. Yes there are black rectangles at the top in the bottom on the back only. I don’t have an issue with it personally this isn’t the type of printer that I’m going to attempt to print something on the back. I used an ink pen and fine point sharpie. It didn’t smear.

The JADENS US Letter Size Quick-Dry Thermal Paper is fantastic! It works perfectly with the JADENS Portable Printer Wireless for Travel and prints quickly without smudging.
