He was running a husky 460 rancher i another top name brand saw I had been using for a few years. I noticed he was more productive and his machine seemed much easier to operate. I used my new chainsaw for the first time and I have to say that it was right tool for the job. Seriously I had a difficult tree to cut to clear a service road. The tree was over two feet in diameter the saw itself was easy to use and made quick work of red oak. And if you have ever cut oak tree then you know difficult they can be when they are in twist. I bought this to have a larger saw to use along with my smaller jonsereds I wanted another jonsereds but husky bought them out so I took a chance on this saw and it looks very similar to my 10 year old jonsereds which has been an awesome saw I've used this a little and it runs great so far I guess time will tell if husky built in the quality of jonsereds ... show more

Great saw! Easy starting saw with plenty of torque to keep the saw dust rolling. Saw should provide plenty of years of service, it will hold up to the jobs it has to do on the farm.

I have only use this product a few times but when I have it has been great never let me down. Great power starts right away. It’s my first Husqvarna chainsaw and I am impressed overall. I would definitely recommend it has enough power to cut through everything I have thrown at it so far whether that be complete trees that are 30’ and plus. Cuts very well. I will say though it does eat gas but it’s a small sacrifice to be able to cut down trees, fast and efficiently. ... show more

This saw has plenty of power driving 24-inch chain. Setup & operation is intuitive & simple. Components are sturdy, not prone to breakdown like with a couple of cheaper models I ditched. The saw did clog up when using it for ripping cedar logs, but I think adding ripping chains and setting up the sawmill apparatus correctly will solve that problem. The saw is heavy, but once you get to work it's no problem. Husky recommends a break-in period, but even at half power it quickly cut up a big load of fire wood.
