Lightweight, starts easily enough, but line spool is small and doesn’t hold the line very well when you need to respool (which is often). If I had to do it over, I would go with a Stihl.

Bought this weedeater to replace another cheap off-brand unit that lasted many years. I purchased Husqvarna because of their reputation for quality. It saddens me to tell you, this is worse than the elcheapo unit it replaced. Poorly built, low quality unit. Engine is very underpowered - you need to trim the strings to about 1/2 length if you want to get full rpms out of this unit. Save your money and frustration. Buy a machete. (Or a better built unit.) ... show more

The Husqvarna cd128 weed eater is the tool you want in your arsenal. My previous Husqvarna lasted 7 years and took on many extreme jobs so when I had to replace it I knew what my replacement weed eater was going to be. The same one I had been using for the previous 7 years.
