Did a lot of research before purchasing. Wanted a gas pole saw and not an electric one. After running it for about 8 sessions, here are my thoughts as a weekend warrior… 1.) During the first 2-3 times using it, I was having issues with it dying after firing up and pulling the trigger. I chalk this up to breaking it in / user error. Has not done it since the initial couple times. 2.) Also first few times operating it felt loose, like not quite solid and shaky/rattle-y. After examining, I found a set screw that I neglected to tighten where the head connects to the shaft. After tightening, the rattle/wiggle was gone. 3.) This has plenty of power for most stuff. It only bogs down when expected (getting pinched by limb pressure points). Obviously I am not a professional, so I have had a little learning curve with use, learning the limitations. We have a lot of trees on our property and this is a huge step up from my manual pole saw we had been using. Especially for the 6+ inch limbs! 4.) Lastly, the only con (wish I could give this 4.5 stars - not worth taking a full star off) I really have with this saw is the size of the gas tank. It’s very small. Almost comically small. It last for maybe 35-40 min of continual use. We had a bunch of trees that needed trimming after a major storm that rolled through and had to fill this 3 or so times, during our trimming sessions. Not a deal breaker, but didn’t realize this point until after purchase. Final verdict - for light occasional use, this saw is a champion. For heavy use, you should probably find a model with a higher fuel capacity. ... show more

Hard to star. No enough power and is a mis lead information on the item description. In adition i ws unable to return the item whitin 6 days after the arrival day. Poor equipment

This is a nice homeowner grade tool that cuts well I had no problem cutting 4” diameter limbs It is heavy so take the time to learn how to properly use the strap that is included

I've used thus continuously since I purchased it. Make sure you tighten up all the screws the keep it secured to the pole.
