Did a lot of research before purchasing. Wanted a gas pole saw and not an electric one. After running it for about 8 sessions, here are my thoughts as a weekend warrior… 1.) During the first 2-3 times using it, I was having issues with it dying after firing up and pulling the trigger. I chalk this up to breaking it in / user error. Has not done it since the initial couple times. 2.) Also first few times operating it felt loose, like not quite solid and shaky/rattle-y. After examining, I found a set screw that I neglected to tighten where the head connects to the shaft. After tightening, the rattle/wiggle was gone. 3.) This has plenty of power for most stuff. It only bogs down when expected (getting pinched by limb pressure points). Obviously I am not a professional, so I have had a little learning curve with use, learning the limitations. We have a lot of trees on our property and this is a huge step up from my manual pole saw we had been using. Especially for the 6+ inch limbs! 4.) Lastly, the only con (wish I could give this 4.5 stars - not worth taking a full star off) I really have with this saw is the size of the gas tank. It’s very small. Almost comically small. It last for maybe 35-40 min of continual use. We had a bunch of trees that needed trimming after a major storm that rolled through and had to fill this 3 or so times, during our trimming sessions. Not a deal breaker, but didn’t realize this point until after purchase. Final verdict - for light occasional use, this saw is a champion. For heavy use, you should probably find a model with a higher fuel capacity. ... show more

    • Poor operation
came out of the box not working. using the throttle stalls the engine. It looks like it needs a carb adjustment or idle adjustment based on internet videos. However, they say not to do so because it can void the warranty. I just want a tool that works.

Works great. I wish it was a little longer. The description is a little misleading with the 12’ reach claim. It takes into account the height of the user. Chain was sharp and the power was adequate for trimming the limbs on my trees

Extremely nice trimmer, great for those concerned about heights. Extention pole is very handy. Its a Husqvarna so its definitely great quality. It is lightweight & well balanced. Its great for those low lying branches since its got good power.

This pole chainsaw works great brashing trees and was very useful to clean up from a nasty ice storm that hit northern Michigan this year. Well also be very helpfully to trim azaleas at my Florida home and all of the brashing needed for the oaks.

I own 7 chain saws , this is a good saw for the money , you can get other attachments for it The echo which costs twice as much is a better saw But also heavier plus you can adjust the pole length and is more powerful, if you've home owner and need a saw occasionally this will get the job done .
