I bought this for smaller jobs. I'm 74 and horsing around the big saw gets old. Initially it stalled, and ran rough the first five minutes. It was new. Since then I've used it about 20 hours. Sweet little saw, love it. No complaints at all.

I have a Husky 460 rancher that starts runs and cuts great, but is heavy and hard on the back after 20 minutes or so, so I thought I would try a small husky since I wore out my Stihl 170 last year. And I have say this is the last Husqvarna I’ll own, it has lousy power at high speed while cutting, constantly bogs down and you can forget trying to start it once it’s warmed up, it’s a nonstop battle between choke and full throttle while pulling to the point of near cardiac arrest. Though it’s very inconvenient, do to Stihl dealer network, it looks like I’m returning to their products though I’ve heard good things about the small Echo models, do that may be an option as well. ... show more

Don't follow the instructions for starting. Cold. Go to full choke. Pull until it try's to kicks over, usually twice. Turn chalk off. pull until it starts, usually twice maybe three times. When hot after resting for a few minutes got to half choke and pull once or twice . Turn off choke. Pull until it starts. ... show more
