abunda_amazon_reviews This fan is easily the worst purchase I have made on amazon to date. I bought it because it was supposed to be “quiet”. This fan has been anything but quiet. My roommate and I have installed it and reinstalled it in a desperate attempt to stop it from “clanking” as it turns. It’s a loud clank like an internal mechanism is coming in contact with another piece every time it makes a rotation. Occasionally it stops making the noise, only to start up again minutes later and continue on for the next hour until I can’t take it anymore and just turn the whole thing off. It also makes the noise at low speeds. It’s loud and it makes it impossible to sleep. Do NOT buy this fan if you like sleeping peacefully, or just dislike irritating loud noises in general. I posted a video, mostly just so you can hear the sound. It’s kind of hard to hear it in the video unless you turn your volume up, but late at night when it’s completely quiet the fan is the loudest noise ever, I can hear it trough my sound cancelling gaming headphones.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2018;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Worst purchase ever!;;Amazon Customer;;;I've had this installed in my bedroom for a while now and I absolutely love it. It is quiet and functional. What more could I want? It was easy to install as well. I am a 66 year-old woman who didn't want to pay someone to install the little critter, so I gave it a shot. A friend came over at one point to hold it up while I hooked up the wires, but it was soooo easy! Hunter fans rock!;;Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2017;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;QUIET, PRETTY AND EASY TO INSTALL!;;Carole Harris;;;Purchased 2 of these fans for my basement which has a low ceiling. They have been running on medium for 3 months ever since. They are quiet, and installation only took about 1.5 hours to do both of them. The low profile is great when you need the clearance and don't require lighting. The finish and appearance is great, and they move a good amount of air without being overwhelming or blowing papers all over the room. If you are just looking to circulate air and you don't need a fan to cool off an entire room, then this fan is for you.;;Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Quiet, easy to install;;Wayneo;;;I bought this fan to be installed in our vacation home, based on the brand (which, in the past, had been well-regarded) and the positive reviews (which I now regard skeptically). When my contractor attempted to install it-- unfortunately after the return date had passed-- he found (1) the internal wiring appeared to be messed up, (2) the remote wouldn't pair with the fan and (3) the fan made a racket when turned on. So now I'm stuck with an $80 piece of junk. I know you get what you pay for, but in this case I'm $80 short of even that.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2018;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Junk in a Box;;J. D. Heller;;;We looked a long time for a ceiling fan for our living room and were very happy with the purchase of this fan. It sits tight to the ceiling, which was a must (about 9" from ceiling to bottom of fan). The fan itself looks better than fans double the price (was priced at $79 at time of purchase). Both the blades and the body are exceptional quality. Super quiet even at high speed and moves air quite well in our 10x16 living room. Highly recommend.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2013;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great looking fan at unbeatable price;;D. Pachal;;;The fan is attractive, although I was surprised by how large the housing was—a little over a foot in diameter. I’m not sure if the mounting bracket was bent or if my ceiling is unlevel, but one side was flush to the ceiling and the other side had approx. ¼ inch gap. I wasn’t too concerned about the gap since I didn’t figure I would notice it. My biggest complaint is the incorrect information on the listing. The main reason I chose this fan was the low profile of 7.5”, which is correct—add another inch just for the end cap below the blades. The model is listed as “low profile III” but it is actually “low profile IV.” The CFM is listed as 2,902, but is actually 2,353. I had looked at other sites for the specs but thought since it was listed as III instead of a IV, maybe it had a different CFM rating. The air output is adequate, but I would have preferred a higher CFM rating; I don’t think I’ll ever take it off of “high” setting, as I like a lot of air movement. It is very quiet and the low profile allowed me to use in my home office that has a 7’ ceiling. We did add a remote as well as Minka-Aire light kit (it was the lowest profile light that I could find) by drilling a hole in the fan end cap. I chose to use the “weathered oak” vs the "wine country" side of the blades. Anyone over 6’ is going to have to navigate carefully in this room, but I am pleased with the appearance.;;Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2019;;3.0 out of 5 stars;;Incorrect model and specs advertised but an attractive fan;;Sunny;;;I needed a low profile fan for our den makeover. The room used to be a closed in patio and we converted it to a living space but the ceiling was low and slanted (as they are in old houses that have been added on to). The old fan/light combo hung down about 17-18 in which really felt in the way. This one I bought specifically because it was only 8-9 in low and smaller fan diameter. The room is about 200 sq ft and so far this fan moves the air great. It is quiet and sleek. We didn't need a fan with lights since we installed flush mount lights on either side of it. We did have to do a little southern engineering for it to hang level while still being flush. My handy man bf built that little wood mount and painted it to blend in to where it's hardly noticeable.;;Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;great little fan;;katie;;;I needed a smaller fan for a bedroom in a basement. This thing is perfect. It's a smaller size and it still pushes around a ton of air --- so much I usually find myself lowering the setting because it's making it too chilly! It's also dead quiet, I almost never notice it's on.;;Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2019;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Love this fan, it's powerful for it's size!;;Karli
