These chairs came in 2 boxes from FedEx. First box came on Wednesday and the second came on Thursday, the seller sent me an email explaining this beforehand, so it was not a problem. Putting them together was a challenge by myself, the instructions were only helpful to show what hardware to use where and a general idea of the orientation of the separate parts. If you are handy with tools, you won't have any problems, if you aren't be prepared to cuss alot! It took me about an hour or so to assemble the first chair and around 30 minutes for the second. I had to undo and reset several sections twice on the 1st chair due lack of instructions. There is a learning curve! All in all I am happy with these chairs. They are very comfortable, since I am 6' 5" and weigh 265 lbs, that's saying something. The cushions are pretty nice, they come vacuum-sealed to conserve space during shipping so don't judge them until you take them out and allow them to go back into shape. These are glider chairs and not rockers like some have said. But they glide and pivot fairly smoothly. Now understand, these are not "top of the line" rattan chairs that you pay $1000 a piece at a patio furniture store, but for the price they seem to be good. Got for enclosed sun porch. Completely happy with purchase. The cushions on ottoman slide, even though there are buttons and loop clasps on two sides. I fixed by cutting up an old bumpy yoga mat and placing under cushions. Holds them decently. If that hadn’t worked I would’ve tried rubber mesh shelf liner. Very comfortable. Cushions on chairs do not slip. Would’ve been a 5 star review if it had buttons and loops on all 4 sides of ottoman cushion. Figure it’s going to take awhile to assemble. Unless you are quite smart and look for the included ratchet Allen wrench. That will cut your time in half. As with all furniture assembly, put together loosely, then go around 2-3 times and tighten/retighten everything. Gives you a chance to get everything settled properly. ... show more

Packages all arrived in the same day and a few days early,no damage at all. I was able to put together 2 chairs and 2 ottomans by myself with the tools provided (they are not the best tools so use your own if you have them) took me about 3 hours. Just like other reviewers said make sure you do not tighten anything until you have it assembled. I'm very happy with the assembled product. I was looking for a patio set that wasn't just the woven material with some weak wires running through it and these are built very well. You can see in my pictures a strong metal frame with a thick vinyl/nylon weave for the seats. The ottomans are rattan weave, so I wouldn't have people sit on it, but fine for a footrest. The feet of the swivel chairs have plastic covers to protect the deck. The feet of the chairs have similar hard plastic cover. Installation was a challenge, but I was able to do it solo. One of the black plastic covers left part inside the chair upright that the bolt enters. I had to get a small drywall screw to stick into the plastic and pull it out. I recommend putting the sofa together first. There is a rachet allen wrench that helps tighten the bolts - especially the tight spots. Also attach the seat to the arms first then to the back. That was the easier order. But keep the bolts loose to get them all in. My original order came with two sofas and zero ottomans, but customer support responded quickly to my email (through Amazon) and had the boxes swapped in a week. Overall a 4-star for the original shipping mixup and a couple struggles in getting it together. but very happy with the assembled product. ... show more

I thought pieces were very hard to put together and the screws stripped so easily but I spent another $10 buying more screws. I was frustrated and they were three of us putting it together and it took us many hours. The only problem I had was because of my own error-using the wrong bolts to attach the sides to the back. Paper instructions were clear and accurate. Video was contradictory.
