She wears size 11 and I’m hoping she can get at least 2 years out of it as I bought the small to big kids as that was all that was available at the time. I bought these roller blades for my daughter for Christmas, with the hopes that she would use the adjusted size as she skates with them for several years, maybe even her younger sister could use them. Less than 2 months after getting them, one wheel came off while she was skating. We saw it laying on the ground. She hasn't skated much, since it is WINTER, maybe 10 times. She skates in an empty parking lot and on the empty street next to our house. No long distances, no crazy places. Of course, I am 17 days after the return window, so what do I do now? I guess I can try to find a bolt to fit it (since that was lost in the event), but that seems ridiculous for sports equipment that is supposed to last for several shoe sizes (AKA, several years!) I would have contacted the seller first, but I can't figure out how to do that since the return window has closed! ... show more

We bought a couple of different pairs of rollerblades recently. These were the worst. Wheels are hard and bearings are janky. Wheels barely roll. Forget about any smooth gliding through the streets as if you were on ice with these babies. Even on the smoothest newest asphalt, you will feel as if you are traveling down a gravel road in the middle of the desert. Super disappointed with this purchase. We thought the wheels would eventually smooth out and start rolling better and went past the point of returns. Oh well we learned. Try out 2PM sports. Their skates are much better. ... show more

My 9 year old daughter is Quite unhappy with these. To be honest, we missed the part in the description about the illuminated wheels. The light up wheels are much harder and do not have the rubbery texture like other roller blade wheels They are like hard plastic. She is pretty bummed that she can't rip around the smooth garage floor like her sister and brother can on theirs.. The wheels simply will NOT Stick to the smooth concrete when trying to push off or turn. She said it is like trying to ice skate on concrete. Outside they are fine, but there is no way she could use these at a roller rink. A good lesson in economics I guess. She paid for them with her own money and the price was appealing to her, even though her siblings skates were a little more expensive. She now wishes she would have spent a little more and got a better pair. You get what you pay for. ... show more

These were a great price, but a great price is meaningless if the product is junk. Only about half of the wheels rolled smoothly. Even after trying to adjust with the included allen wrenches, at least three of the wheels just would not spin as expected and likely had faulty or old bearings. I am returning these and looking for a different pair. Too bad, too, because these were my favorite as far as the overall look. ... show more
