These chairs came in 2 boxes from FedEx. First box came on Wednesday and the second came on Thursday, the seller sent me an email explaining this beforehand, so it was not a problem. Putting them together was a challenge by myself, the instructions were only helpful to show what hardware to use where and a general idea of the orientation of the separate parts. If you are handy with tools, you won't have any problems, if you aren't be prepared to cuss alot! It took me about an hour or so to assemble the first chair and around 30 minutes for the second. I had to undo and reset several sections twice on the 1st chair due lack of instructions. There is a learning curve! All in all I am happy with these chairs. They are very comfortable, since I am 6' 5" and weigh 265 lbs, that's saying something. The cushions are pretty nice, they come vacuum-sealed to conserve space during shipping so don't judge them until you take them out and allow them to go back into shape. These are glider chairs and not rockers like some have said. But they glide and pivot fairly smoothly. Now understand, these are not "top of the line" rattan chairs that you pay $1000 a piece at a patio furniture store, but for the price they seem to be good. I guess only time will tell if they last for awhile.

I almost sent it back, thinking I couldn’t assemble.But I eventually got the courage, biggest problem was the bottom, swivel and rock. I put it together I believe correctly, but bolts keep falling out. I just took the bottom off today, so now I can atleast use it. I would not do it again.

Got for enclosed sun porch. Completely happy with purchase. The cushions on ottoman slide, even though there are buttons and loop clasps on two sides. I fixed by cutting up an old bumpy yoga mat and placing under cushions. Holds them decently. If that hadn’t worked I would’ve tried rubber mesh shelf liner. Very comfortable. Cushions on chairs do not slip. Would’ve been a 5 star review if it had buttons and loops on all 4 sides of ottoman cushion. Figure it’s going to take awhile to assemble. Unless you are quite smart and look for the included ratchet Allen wrench. That will cut your time in half. As with all furniture assembly, put together loosely, then go around 2-3 times and tighten/retighten everything. Gives you a chance to get everything settled properly.

It came with an allen wrench, so be prepared to use those fingers... took a little while but also came in seperate days so in the end I am very happy with these pieces.. gonna have to get some fire retardant spray for my cushions since we have an outdoor fireplace...
