This laser measuring tool is so much easier to use than a traditional tape measure, especially when the distance is over 6 feet or so. I no longer need an assistant to help with measuring. It's very easy to use, after reading the instructions that describe the meaning of the graphics on the buttons. While this device can supposedly measure areas and volumes and perform other complex calculations, I'm using it as a standard distance measuring device. I like how you can configure it to display the length including the width of the device (most common use) or to just display the length to the front of the tool. I used it to measure for new blinds in several wide windows, and it was very easy and accurate. It allowed me to easily do a job that would normally require 2 people to complete. I also like that it includes an angle sensor, so it can be used in place of a level. This Huepar laser measuring tool is versatile, and will replace my old tape measures for most tasks.

I'm a videographer and I often do site visits before I film an event, and need to measure the spaces to plan camera positions, lens choices, and lighting setups. Using a tape measure is always a tedious process, and guesstimating has failed me in the past. Now with this magical tool I can get all the data I need in mere seconds. I tested it in my studio where I already know all the measurements, and it's highly accurate. I've been trusting it since I got it, and it's not failed me yet. I don't use any of the fancy features, I just love being able to be anywhere in a room, and having it measure in both directions simultaneously. So effortless. This lives in my kit now.

The laser measuring tool works very well, but there is a small learning curve before you can figure out all the features. The main measuring functions are relatively intuitive and straightforward. However, the more complicated calculation measures took a bit to understand. To get the full use of this tool, you have to read the manual. It does much more than I expected.

This can calculate measurements for you in nearly all situations. I also particularly like that it can measure from both ends so I can just stand in a room and measure one way and then the other. It also has a significantly more visible line than my cheaper one. Much easier to see in situations with more sunlight. And the case keeps it protected when I inevitably toss it into a bucket with tools. It’s rechargeable too so I don’t have to change batteries, I can just plug it in. The only tricky part is that because it has so many functions you really do need to keep the instructions somewhere for reference. Some of the button sequences aren’t intuitive because the button combinations can get a little complicated. I’ve learned most of them now that I’ve been using it for a bit. There are some that are gonna be so handy when I need them, but it’s not often enough to memorize them. This was on the pricier side, but it’s well made and really does a lot. For me, it’s definitely worth it just to get the strong dual lasers.

I've been using this device quite a bit lately and I really like it. It seems to be reasonably accurate overall, but it can be hard to line up the laser over long distances. The beam has a fair bit of spread and can be hard to see outdoors during the day. I've used it to measure distances between posts on my new deck and have found it's usually within 1/16" of the same measurement using a tape measure. When checking the level or plumb, it appears to be accurate - at least as accurate as any normal bubble level.

My husband loves it. So many modes that you can't go wrong. The controls are very intuitive, but the guide is helpful for the more complex calculations. It makes short work of what can be extremely tedious measurement calculations. The rotating screen is a game-changer, although you do have the option to freeze it in a preferred position. The construction is high quality, and the case that's included is very nice. We'd definitely recommend this product.

You can see from the picture that the measuring tape reads 54 inches and the laser measurement is 1.38. In the conversion picture that means .33 inches more than the measuring tape. I’m sure there’s a calibration feature, but I haven’t read all the instructions yet. This also has a nice carry case and is rechargable. This has so many good features, like a level, and reading the instructions is a must unless there is a video on this somewhere. A great tool for the tool box.
