I have been using these for some time and I like all the effects you can obtain and makes a good Christmas decoration too. The remote works well and has a bewildering choice of colors and blinking effects. The LEDs are in a circular pattern and create the colors outside of RGB by mixing the colors so it does not create a single filament look. I like a warm tungsten glow in the evenings for mood lighting and this set is not as good as other string lights I have, but to be fair the others are dedicated to that one color temperature. The other colors are not as noticeable as the warm white for not being as palatable to the senses. The lights are not on the bright side but have dimming at very fine adjustments down to next to no illumination. One minor annoyance is if the power goes out it turns these on when the power turns back on, not too bad but I have noticed this several times. ... show more

I picked these up to run over top of my new deck area. I really like the different colors, patterns and remote control but I do wish they were brighter. Regardless of the brightness they look great and really dress up the deck.

We installed these around the base of our deck which is over a portion of our patio, and we really like them. They are color changing or static on a single color, whichever you choose, and they are dimmable and controllable with an app or with a remote. These are durable and shatterproof, which is nice as our previous string lights would shatter if the hit the ground, which would occasionally happen as we took them down for cleaning. I have not tried music mode on these, but overall these are really great lights! They say smart lights, but they are Bluetooth to your phone, not wi-fi to be able to use an Echo or anything directly. However, we do have these set up on a smart plug so we can at least turn them on and off with voice commands and then when we go outside, control them with the remote or app. Would recommend! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m in love with lights of every design and have been on a bit of a roll with having a variety of options on hand to play with my mood. These are pretty well made and the options on the remote satisfy my need for variety. I did notice that some colors when pressed aren’t true to their corresponding colors on the remote but I’m ok with overlooking that because overall these are still doing it for me. ... show more
