This was the second Heybike Range that I ourchased because the first was stolen before I eben used it. Normall items from Amazon are delivered in good condition to my porch, but this one was left in my driveway and the package was damaged. I was too busy to deal with at the time and I should have immediaely semt it back but I decuded to open it and see if there was any serious damage. At first the bike assembled normally buy when I tried to attach the left pedal it would not thread properly. When I looked back at the photograph taken earlier I realized that the pedal assembly was part of the damage I could see. (See the attached photograph). However it is entirely possible that the damage was not caused the seller, and I know of no way to find out how it occured. So I will take responsibility and not return the bike and try to fix it. We are gong to try pipe threader tomorrow. Aside from that the bike works fine and everyone likes the classic style. It was very inexpensive and yet seems to be well made (in China of course). I trust Heybike and will buy from them again. Maybe they have evidence about the sourcce of the damage. Good news is that the classic white thread tape use by plumbers worked great an allowed us to thread the left pedal. Now the bike operates perfectly.

Assembly instructions for the Ranger 2.0 were scarce. The qr link sent me to a slightly different version. Some of the steps were omitted and had to figure them out myself or going to other youtube installation videos. My bike wouldn't fold until I contacted tech support. On this model you'll need to lift up the bracket that lock the pivot bracket. No where in any videos did it illustrate this. They have since rectified this by posting a video that addresses the issue I brought to their attention. Bike is well built and goes fast (28mph as specified). This model did not include a water bottle holder or any front basket. Customer support did a fantastic job of addressing my concerns. A human picked up when I called, and they were also very responsive with email communications.

I should have did better research on Ebike before I purchase this one. If you have long legs this bike can be uncomfortable riding. So now I am searching for a low back seat post to adjust seat position,so I can petal the front of my feet and not my heels. Other than that the bike is nice. It's fast,it looks nice and it feels well made. Once I get it adjusted for these old knees and feet it will be a great starter bike

This is our first Ebikes and we are very impressed in the quality, power and longevity of the battery. The bike feels very solid and safe while going fast speeds. The brakes were a bit squeaky but perform very well. I did follow the heybike video on how to reduce some of the squeak and calibrate them. Our first ride we went almost 12 miles and I mostly used throttle only and the battery was still on all bars. I think for sure you could go over 30 miles on throttle only per charge. Also I was able to get bike on flat up to 29mph with pedal assist on 100% battery and gear 7. The suspension is perfect was able to bump up curbs and down with ease. No being used to bikes we did order different seats that are more comfortable. I spent a full day researching these bikes and at one point had 21 different bikes in my cart. These Rangers where selected because of the range, design, foldability, cost, and the reviews overall. Will highly recommend Heybike as a quality brand. A+++!!

I found the bike easy to assemble. The top end speed is 20mph, and this is plenty fast enough for us. My wife and I both have one. We ride around where we live locally often, and truck the bikes to another close city where we also like to ride in town, in parks, and around the lakes. The suspension makes for a comfortable ride. The Power assist works fine with the default settings. Once you get used to letting off the throttle slowly as you pedal to take over with pedaling, this makes for a smooth transition between full power assist and assist with pedaling. I like it has all the lights and blinkers, and a little horn, which make it safer when in traffic with cars. We ride about 25 miles typically, and battery has never gone under 50%. We have some mild hills in our rides, with a few high grades. The gears transition smoothly, and this helps in the grades.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Be VERY careful when purchasing from this company. I ordered 2 bikes, one of them came damaged beyond repair. When I reached out to them all they wanted to do was send me parts. I asked for several weeks for a return and refund and they refused. I had to get the credit card involved and finally after 7 weeks it was resolved. Amazon was no help either. They claim to have an A to Z guarantee which is crap. There are way better Ebikes on the market so please avoid this company!! Heybike and Jaison are the SAME

I was skeptical and indecisive. In the end, I’m glad I ended up choosing this bike. No returns return policy is a bit dreadful, especially when you don’t know about these things. Thankfully, first day went well. I had some issues adjusting the stem. There’s no clear instructions on how to do so. Finally, after the fourth try, the steering is in place for now. Besides that it came together easily. I love how much power it has with the 1400 w peak motor. I got a top speed of 29MPH and I weigh 265. Better than I expected! Highly recommend. I will change this review if something makes me change my mind about this product.
