    • VERY GOOD RACK
When i first open the box all the parts were light weight. I was worried being so light it would move around too much. Once assembled it is very stable. I am going to screw mine into my wood garage floor for extra stability I have 3 bikes but i ordered the 5 bike rack. I only put 3 of the cradles in.     • It needs to be fastened down
The rack is very sturdy. It needs to be bolted down to cement or a really sturdy board. Cannot be used right out of the box. I recommend it, just keep in mind you have to bolt it down.

Works very well. It’s is very light so it will move around if you don’t mount it. Otherwise, does a good job of holding 5 bikes.

    • Keeps bikes organized
It works well for my three bikes, but I can't imagine fitting five bikes in the rack. Even with three bikes, equally spaced, the handlebars touch each other. You could stagger each bike, alternating front wheel and rear wheel, but if you put the rear wheel in the rack will hit the derailleur and possibly bend it. It's better than leaning my bikes against various objects in my garage, though, so for that it works. ... show more

Bought this to hold 5 bikes. The product arrived scratched/dented in places, but I assembled it anyway because it’s going in a garage and it would likely get wear pretty quickly. Assembly was frustrating because some of the parts were bent. It also requires two hand tools to screw the nut onto the bolt. Once assembled, the bikes installed ‘rear tire first’ still lean a good bit and the weight of the bike is on the spokes of the tire. 5 bikes is a tight fit (at best) with handlebars getting in the way. Out of the box, the pieces were scuffed and had early signs of rust. It almost looked used, but I have a feeling it is caused by the conditions at the production facility. Assembly was straight forward, but no matter how tight you get the hardware there is still slight play in the pieces. I use the stand for 3 bikes which have 20" and 24" wheels. My 2.4" tires are a tight squeeze but they note 2.5" is the max. If you are looking to utilize all 5 wheel slots, it will be challenging to make everything fit. If you have taller/heavier bikes (29" full suspension) you may notice the bikes leaning in the stand because of that side to side play I mentioned. Overall, the stand meets my needs for the price. Spending 3 times as much on a "better" version would probably not be much of an improvement. Unless you want to drop $500 on a stand designed for outdoor commercial use, this option is fine. ... show more
