I want to like this bike stand but was hoping for more. The pros: the stand is easy to assemble and light weight. I think it took me about 5 minutes to assemble and is easy to move around. The stand is made of decent materials and is sturdy. (I.e. It holds my bike securely) Now come the cons: the adjustment slide on my stand is difficult to slide up and down, even after putting some WD-40 on it. Next, the stand is really only meant for the front tire. When trying to use it with the back tire the rear derailer has to be moved and still rubs a little bit when fully extended. I wanted to use this while working on my bike which now limits what I can do. Last, it is not exactly foldable. You have to remove the brackets to fold which is not the end of the world but a better design could have solved these issues. All in all it is a decent bike stand maybe not exactly what I needed it for. ... show more

I have a mountain bike that came without a kick stand so I was looking for an easy and secure alternative to simply propping the bike against a wall ands hoping it doesn’t crash to the ground. Overall this does exactly what you'd expect it to by providing a stable way to keep your bike upright on the floor. My reason for 4 stars is it does not fold up easily when you aren't using it - you have to take 6 screws out in order to get it to a flat state making storage a bit of a pain. With that in mind, it's a versatile stand with the sliding wheel "lock". It's also very sturdy - I've used it to support my 29er Mountain Bike during service and cleaning and it's worked like a champ. ... show more

What it is: Black painted steel and plastic adjustable bike stand for 20”-29” bikes without disc brakes and 24”-29” bikes with disc brakes. Includes instructions and hex wrench. Why I like it: This is a stable stand—I can use it with my road/gravel 700c bikes, 26” and 27.5” mountain bikes. The base is wide, and the bikes stay in place once the sliding bracket is adjusted. While some stand auto-adjust to different tire sizes, this one has a locking slider to manually grip the front top of the tire. Assembly took about 5 minutes with 10 hex screws and the included hex wrench. Paint and finish is pretty good, although powder coating is the preferred finish if you’re looking for durability. The stand is advertised as folding, but requires unscrewing 4 screws to do so. Then reattaching the screws and brackets for use. Other designs use a spring latch to accomplish this much quicker. I’ll leave the folding to them, and keep this one assembled. Overall, a rather nice stand for storage and basic maintenance. ... show more
