This is a must have for cleaning a pellet stove. There are little vents that fill up with ash and no way to vacuum it out without the little hose. I highly recommend this product.

We got the PowerSmith Ash Vac, plus the cleaning kit and extra filters due to the reviews we had read. Prior to getting it, my husband used a shopvac to clean our pellet stoves, ugh! The shop vac emitted a lot of ash into the air and dusting and vacuming the house was necessary afterward. With this new vac, that is not a problem. Plus, if there is a bit of warm ash left in the pot, it's not an issue of the filter catching on fire. We love this. We actually own two now, as we have a cabin in the UP of MI, and we have a wood fireplace there. This vac is so helpful and works great. ... show more
