I wanted a new concert ukulele that had a strap. My current one is for beginners. After I read all the reviews I decided to purchase this concert professional ukulele. Comfortable to hold. Frets smooth. Aquila strings easy on my 74 year old fingers. I like the strap which was easy to install. At times when standing up to play keeps ukulele from sliding around. I like the sound too. I am a member of a ukulele group and we perform out in the community. The only thing I don’t like are the tuning pegs. Can see the gears. Most are covered to make a nicer appearance. I bought this for my daughter's 24th birthday. She's been playing on a little training ukelele she got last summer. She is absolutely thrilled with this one! The tone is amazing! It's true that right off it has to be tuned very frequently. The same can be said for any nylon-stringed instrument every time you have new strings. They have a break-in/stretch period that is unavoidable. Mainly, this is a drop-dead gorgeous instrument with a very lovely tone. I would recommend it to anyone who wants unique style! ... show more

I have a ton of ukuleles and didn't need another, but this one looked so unusual, I wanted it! It didn't disappoint. It's a looker for sure! Crazy in the details. It's like the designers threw everything at this one! Previous versions of this uke didn't have strap buttons, but this one does! As for sound, It's good, but not great. Likely a prior return or used uke. The tuner battery was between the tuner clamp (not how they ship new ones) and the white areas on the border are not light reflections but either a faulty finish or scuff from prior use. Otherwise it’s a good looking (reportedly solid Koa top per Hrucaine’s website) glossy ukulele so I’ve ordered another in hopes I will get one is great shape like my friend who has ordered from this company before. Despite the hassle, I’ve still given them 4 stars in hopes the next one arrives in excellent condition. ... show more
