pretty cool gadget i have a gmc Sierra with a 6l80 ive heard horror stories about DOD and transmission issues so i bought this to change the tune in the truck pretty fun to mess around with be carful though . the price is reasonable its nice to be able to make your own tweaks rather than a plug and play with no user input as a first time user it took me a long time to figure out things on the vcm editor but just a few hours and ive completely changed how the truck feels to drive by using blue cat tool to get shift points perfect i also increased line pressure and decreased shift timing for firmer shift up and down should help with towing all in all the fit is perfect the cord length is nice so I'm able to set my laptop on the center console to make changes and the functionality so far is flawless having the live data and ability to record is really nice as well this was my first time ever using an hp tuner so there is alot to learn if your doing it yourself if your not comfortable doing it though there are tons of great tuners out there that can send you files to load into your system ... show more

Does exactly as expected, can view all the pdi's on my truck and i highly recomend this for someone who wants to learn tuning, keep in mind you need to buy the liscensing to the software of your vehicle to acess it, and newer car manufacturers do everything in their power to prevent you from doing so, as a rule of thumb DO NOT BUY this if you have a 2018 or newer car because not even the licensed mechanic shops besides the dealership you bought it from will be able to acess it and you wont either. If youre a gearhead who works on older cars and fundamentally understands how an engine works and runs, this is 100% worth the price. And one of the easiest products to learn from due to its very simplistic and straightforward layout. ... show more

It does exactly what you tell it. Tuning ls or Lt, this is required imo. Box tunes suck. This is custom tuning and believe it or not, the price is reasonable. A box tune will run you 200 plus a tuner. Can’t change anything. Blackbear is similar but even more expensive. Tuner and credits lets you tune it your way and change it whenever you like ... show more

Shoutout to the MPVI setup. I’ll be real—it’s not cheap. But the quality of the hardware and what it allows you to do makes it worth it if you’re serious about tuning. Now as far as learning it… I didn’t get walked through it by the company. I had to figure it out myself, and with the help of ChatGPT walking me step by step, I was able to understand how everything works and actually start making progress. Once you get over that learning curve, this setup is powerful. If you’re working on LS builds like I am, it opens the door to doing things the right way. So yeah—expensive, but solid.
