I have a car that doesn't get driven often and on Saturday morning, after heavy snow and sub arctic temperatures the battery didn't have enough juice to start the engine. I have a standard battery charger but no room in the garage for the car and I wasn't going to run an extension cord through snow and mush to the car or pull the battery out to charge inside. Went online and found this jump starter instead. Ordered Saturday afternoon, arrived Sunday afternoon at 83% charged and took a little over an hour to top it off to 100% (it charges around 1% every 4min, give or take 30sec). Took it outside and lifted the hood. Red to red, black to black, push the power button, turn the key in the car. My car not only immediately started, it roared to life. Zero hesitation. Zero "ru-ru-ru-ru...". It roared to life like it was the first time starting it. And the jump starter is still showing 100% after single use. Anyone who has ever tried to start a car with a dead battery in an empty parking lot at night knows that feeling in the pit of your stomach when there's nobody around to connect jumper cables to. I'll never have that feeling again as long as I have this in my glovebox. Highly recommend and I will be purchasing more for family members. ... show more

3 days around 0 F could not start the car, used the jump start as manual said to and started right up. Had it tested and had a bad battery,no tow trucks very happy with the product.

This jump starter is way better than the old bulky traditional ones that are typically found at like autozone or other budget parts stores. It's light weight, easy to store, and it comes with its own storage case too. The clamps are clearly marked and the power plug only goes in one way so there is no making a mistake on that end. Power is clearly visible, and operating it is straightforward. The price is exceptionally good, because even the Costco ones in this category are more expensive, but deliver less power. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this 3000A jump starter is because I'd recommend for you to get the 5000A one from this manufacturer instead. That one is a beast, has more power, and costs just a little bit more. ... show more
