Drop dead gorgeous screen for the price! I can't believe I'm getting a 2k OLED screen for this price. Typing on this laptop is a nice experience as the keys are large, have lots of thock, and very tactile. Browsing the web, watching videos in 2160p and such have been fine performance wise. I was able to use Office365 apps really well. However you'll need to be on the performance mode. The balanced and power saving modes are a little too slow for me but they can be quite useful to extend the already long battery life even further. Compared to gaming laptops, I could feel the performance gap for general browsing. But I don't mind it because the processor is so unbelievably power efficient. Another thing, speakers are crystal clear and project well when placed on a table even though the speakers are underneath the laptop. For $600 something dollars, I seriously can't believe I'm getting this good of a laptop. It feels almost like a high-end machine from the way the cover feels, the screen, and overall aesthetic look of the laptop. ... show more

Two big features that I considered important was the Snapdragon Plus for battery life, processing performance and the specialty AI engine which many Ryzen/Intel laptops don't have at this price. The OLED touch screen is a nice upgrade from my 6 year old touchscreen LCD laptop and this one is nice for the price point saving several hundred dollars. Overall, the laptop feels solid, sturdy and very capable for home use compared to my $2K+ work Lenovo Thinkpad and the Ideapad flex which I'm replacing. You can custom build the Omni 5 directly from HP with backlit keys, more memory and HDD size etc. but this is all I need for home use. I had HP years ago and it was solid.     • Really nice laptop.
First thing, it was very easy to setup. No issues, didn't need assistance. Second, the keyboard is NOT BACKLIT. Rufus was wrong, but I think this has since been corrected. It really is fast. I only have my 5 year old Dell with i7 and GTX video, this Snapdragon is at least that fast. Third, it gets faster when no plugged in seems true too. Yeah, couldn't believe it either. Fourth, it is extremely light but we'll constructed with aluminum where needed (like to keep the screen from over-flexing). Fifth, the OLED screen is exceptional. I feel they should have tried something other than the Intel built in video. I think it would have been even better. Lastly, the battery time....I don't fully agree it will reach over 30 hours, even though they claim it was tested by streaming videos, I doubt the overall time. I will say that I have gotten around 24 hours of battery time so far. If you need something that needs off the power for long periods, this is your laptop. Honestly, had this had that backlit keyboard, this would have been a 5-star review. ... show more

Good value in my opinion. You can use facial recognition to sign in and it offers a touchscreen as well. Fast response time, easy AI access with copilot via Edge, and nice graphics.

Such a great computer, didn't expect such quality. Plus it looks like a mackbook which is amazing. The battery life lasts literally two days and i use it alot. Size is perfect. Speed is very fast it never lags. The weight is decent also.

Fast enough for most applications but maybe not the best choice for gaming. The display is bright and vibrant. Maybe a bit too vibrant for accurate photo editing but very nice for visual effects. This particular model does not have the number keypad for backlit keys but overall a very capable laptop at a reasonable price ... show more

It is great, has great screen, one of the best you could say, and the battery life is amazing, however when asking if the screen is 60hz even though it's advertised as 120hz, very disappointed with that, overall not a big deal for most. Good buy!
