Installs quickly and performs as promised. I can confirm limited motion range which is okay for my small shed install. The light isn't very bright but that was expected too. I like the ability to change the LED color too. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the poor quality hardware provided. This is an easy to install and use light. Very bright! I use it in a small shed but it could light up a much larger space. The solar seems to work, even on a gray day. I love that the motion sensor is sensitive. When I open the door to the shed the light comes right on. I've had many motion sensor lights that you had to wave your arm off to get to come on, but not this one. Comes with a remote control that you need to keep track of, but I just hung it on the wall so it couldn't get misplaced. Would definitely recommend this light, and in fact I liked it enough I bought a second one for another location. ... show more

I have two of these units. One is installed under a covered porch and works fine. The other unit is installed under a deck, where it is exposed to rain. It stopped working after a few months due to water seeping in during recent heavy rains. See photos - the circuit board and inside the unit filled with lots of water. The point of entry was where the cable from the solar panel comes into the top of the unit's housing. After I disassembled the unit, I found a blob of RTV type sealant at the cable entry point on the inside. The manufacturer applied the RTV sloppily and did not actually seal the opening. My advice to anyone using this product where rain can come into contact - apply RTV sealant around the cable entry point on the outside of the unit. ... show more

Easy to install with plug and play wires. Brighter than I imagined they would be but not overly bright. Good for a carport in my opinion. Battery life seems good. I leave it on 80% brightness all night and it lasts all night. Charges 100% during the day. I like that each light has its own remote but one remote will work each individual light as well so it’s like getting an extra remote.
