Worked like a treat on my 2018 GMC Sierra Denali 1500. Unlocked and reloaded the ECM with a custom filled I made in a couple minute's with the free software. Only advice is so not buy credits until you understand what you are buying, you know the software pretty good and you can read your original ECM flash make a backup then use the original file to modify and write back to your ECM so your file the software and three ECM all unlock together and should work fine if you're starting with the original flash from your ECM. Also you do not have to use credits to play with the software and to read your original flash. You only need credits to write changes in the file to the ECM. And you only have to pay to unlock that file and the ECM one time for unlimited changes to that file only. Once you spend credits on a unlock or a file they are gone and not refundable. So if you go to fast and mess up outer buy the wrong file unlock etc... They will not give you your money or any exchange on the credits you've spent. So get the right info and get the right stuff the first time and you should be good

I bought this for my 2023 GMC Acadia 2.0L Turbo—exactly the kind of late-model vehicle you'd expect a modern tuning tool to support. Nowhere in the listing does it warn that newer GM vehicles (2020+) with Global B architecture are NOT compatible with this product. Yes, the listing says you can “tune any supported vehicle,” but the reasonable interpretation is that some vehicles may be too old or obscure—not that brand-new models from major automakers are locked out and unsupported. Here’s what happened: The device read my VIN, synced to my HP Tuners account, and their system knew immediately that my vehicle was incompatible. Despite that, I was allowed to buy credits, which were then permanently locked to my account. It never worked. No tuning access. No functionality. No warning. No refund. HP Tuners refused to reverse or refund the credits—even though they were never applied to a vehicle. This is deceptive by omission. The system had everything it needed to prevent this purchase—and failed to do so. That's not an accident. It's predatory. If you own a newer GM vehicle, avoid this device. You’ll be out hundreds of dollars with no way to fix it. This company knows it—and they’re counting on the fact that you don’t.
