Update: And now I have changed an ink cartridge. WHAT? It was so simple I couldn't believe I was awake. Open door, pull out drawer, grasp handle to pull out right color, open package, gently rotate cartridge a few time to distribute ink, drop into slot by handle. Close the drawer, close the door, the printer initializes itself for bit, and ready again. Previous: I don't know if I should weep for joy or berate myself over not going laser years ago. This is an excellent and renewed wireless printer, I could not tell that it was anything but brand new out of the box. It prints quietly and beautifully, I marvel at the sharp clear print quality each time. I have two perfectly good HP inkjet wireless printers one not even two years old that I bought brand new directly from HP. My printing needs these days are not regular, and printing a test sheet regularly seemed to escape my thoughts so I suffered dry ink jets continuously. Worried each time I really needed something printed and I wasn't worried for nothing, they almost always printed poor copies and most times I tried more than once. I finally got fed up when trying to print photos during the prolonged hot dry spell that in our area. I had no decent copies for months trying both inkjet printers. Since I got this HP Laserjet I start to worry now when I need a copy, then remember to turn on my laser printer and print, and print only to suit my needs. Considering that I bought a renewed product and that I have unopened inkjet cartridges and have wasted several inkjet cartridges this past year, the cost of laser printing is not out of line, considering the stressors encountered with my past 5 inkjet printers it is a bargain! Nowhere can you easily find that glossy photo paper for inkjet printers burns and CAN DAMAGE your laser printer. The gloss can burn inside the printer. I had to overheat my printer and then search online to find this information. AND Amazon persists in showing inkjet printer paper when one seeks LASER only photo paper. Beware, I think my printer is okay once I let it cool down. Brochure or Presentation paper types were recommended in my search. ... show more

    • Great printer, Connectivity issues
Wanted to replace an old college printer and upgrade to a Laserjet color for other business needs. Printer arrived well packaged and was easy to plug in and run a test print. Print quality was great and color was vibrant to us. Unfortunately connectivity was not easy. I was able to get it connected to my computer however, it would never connect to my wife's surface pro. Additionally we were unable to get it on the WiFi network to use the HP Smart app. ... show more

    • OMG I am thrilled with this Laser Printer, it outdid my expectations for price & logic software...
This is an amazing printer I can't believe I was using an inkjet before I am super happy with my new printer. The seller is excellent of course it came right for the Amazon warehouse, so it got here in no time. Super easy to use, love the versatility, and I don't have to be on WiFi with this printer if I choose not to. It can print envelopes, letter size paper legal size paper on, and on you have multiple choices to pick from. It's super fast and efficient, and finally, the ink does not run on the paper once it's printed that's it!!! The only very disappointing thing is that HP Customer Service SUCKS it does NOT EXIST any longer this is the only downside to purchasing an HP product. Not the seller's problem at all. But there is a remedy: I use a PC and have an account with Microsoft they were the ones that had the tech support level two tech that helped me correct the issues with this HP printer that was causing all the issues when I installed my printer all my scanners stopped working. I thought I was in a pickle since HP is not their company it's a third-party vendor, but to my surprise, they resolved an HP issue on my PC. The drivers were a bit harder than I expected from HP, but once I got them loaded and operational, it seems to be good.

    • Life span for the printer is less than two years.
This printer only worked well for me for almost two years. I used it to print from home for work. It only comes with a one year warranty.

This was the first laser printer that I have ever bought. I thought the print quality was supposed to to be noticeably better than inkjet, but it's not better at all. What is supposed to look grey, looks purple, and what is supposed to be black also looks purple and the print resolution is horrible. At least in my case. I will still keep the printer but I am very disappointed with it. ... show more

Easy to install software and drivers following the instruction book. The wireless feature is wonderful works perfectly with my laptop as well as I Phone and I Pad. The printing is fast and colors clear and crisp. I didn’t realize the printer was not new but refurbished when I ordered it. I didn’t read that part I was so “wrapped up” in the features. However it is fine and works great. Such a difference from ink jet printer. I mentioned the install and wireless features because I saw a review that complained of difficulty with HP printers especially this model. ... show more
