  • Great device for peace of mind.
We have had this for a few weeks and just recently got it set up and working because of the weather. My husband installed the ap on his phone since he does 100% of the driving. He said it took him three tries to get it synced with his phone, so be patient and keep trying if you have issues. He did have to move our charging device to a different plug-in because the wire from the front camera was a little too short to reach the empty slot, so keep that in mind when planning. He opted not to install the back camera at this time. I will update if he changes his mind. The unit itself clips to your rear view mirror, but it is small, so the screen isn’t that large. You won’t actually be watching the screen. It is more for adjusting the viewing area so you know you are recording the correct area. The picture is bright and clear, just small. It comes with everything you need to set up the device. An SD card is included. The features such as GPS and speed are recorded right on the screen, which is great if you are in an accident and need to prove you were not speeding. There is a Lock &Save feature so that if you are in an accident the footage is saved and cannot be overwritten so you lose your evidence. This little guy does a lot for the price, and how can you put a price on peace of mind? ... show more

  • Works great! Reasonable price too.
First off, wanted to say I had absolutely no issues connecting this camera to my phone not sure how old the other reviewer on here was, but it was straight forward and quick. The app you use to pull videos off of the deceive and change settings is called Go Moto Plus, which wasn’t exactly obviously written when taking a very quick glance at the paper it came with. I like that the camera set came with a 64gb so card already. If you take normal 1080p video it should hold quite a large number of files before overwriting. If you switch to 4K resolution, it will overwrite old videos a lot faster. Both the front camera that can record up to 4K and the rear camera that maxes out at 1080p have excellent video quality. If planning on hardwiring this, just note that the device will not power up if you have a high output or PD USB-C setup. I could not get this to turn on unless l changed the usb-c setup I have to a low output/ no quick charge. Works fine with the included standard DC car outlet. I did think it was strange that they used USB-C for the main connection but the connection between the front and rear camera is a micro USB. Why not just use the same type of port for both? The app allows you to change quite a lot of setting and save videos/ pictures. It was easy to navigate and figure out all the things you can do which is a lot. I love that during video playback Theres a split screen with a map in the lower half showing where exactly the vehicle was during the footage. I would highly recommend, especially during crazy times we live in. ... show more

  • Really easy install!! Pay attention and it'll go great!!
First off, great cam, with a rear facing unit! Mine came with front and rear cams, a lil mini spudger, and some stick on wire holders. I had no issues with mine whatsoever! IMHO it's just a matter of downloading the instruction manual, installing the app and following the set up.. It can get a lil confusing at the part where is says to connect to the camera with your phone. That may be because you don't connect to it via Bluetooth. You have to go into your Network settings to locate the camera, then connect to it there. Once connected then go into the settings and make any changes you want to there. IE, watermark, quality, display... Ect... It states also that it'll turn on and off with your car, well only if the plugin you use the included adaptor for turns on and off with your key. If it's hot all the time? You'll be recording all the time. A 3 second hold on the power button will turn it off safely if yours is hot all the time and will ensure you don't lose data. Another thing that may help setup, before attempting to attach either cam take the front cam with you in the back while it's powered up, plug in the rear cam and push the power button one time. This'll change the focus from the front to the back so you can see better the view where you place the back cam before you stick it on. My rear cam was a lil different type of situation as my back glass rolls up and down. Sport-trac owner!! (See pics!) And likewise for the front, turn it on so you can check the view and make sure it's where you want it before you commit to nailing it down as well. Oh and one more thing? Don't forget to take the protective cover off the lenses!!! It's a booger trying to get it off after you stick em on!!! ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money
The media could not be loaded. This thing sucks! I’ve tried to set it up 20 flipping times what a waste of time!!!!! I’ve charged it up all night long. I’ve gone step by step connected WiFi but this stupid app just goes to my settings which I’ve given access to everything still nothing.

  • Functional product
Setup was relatively easy. I installed it and drove around the block to test it. Operating the mobile app that allows you to save photos, videos requires an internet connection.

  • Excellent dash cam kit
This is a 4k dash cam with both front and rear camera, you can however operate it with just the front if you wish. This kit comes with everything you need including a 64gb sd card power cables and mounting film. The power is a lighter outlet style and it would be nice if it had a usb-c option. I did test a standard usb-c cable and block and it did work so that could be an option if needed and you supply your own cable. The overall build quality of the set is excellent, both cameras are solid. Once powered on i did find the default resolution is set to 2k you can adjust it but you will need to access the settings via the app. This is labeled as an HP product however the app is not HP branded. You will need to power the camera and add it in the app in order to access the settings and format the sd card. Upon setup you will need to join the cameras wifi network, for me this was a quick easy process and I was able to get it done first attempt. The camera does have a small lcd screen on it for viewing, it's plenty bright and the quality is good. When set to 2k or 4k the video quality is outstanding, the playback also shows the speed. ... show more
