Description

Use Feed-N-Wax to preserve wood finishes and keep the finish from drying out and cracking. During the life of a tree, the wood is naturally kept in a moistened state. Feed-n-wax helps introduce natural oils to keep the wood from drying out while leaving behind a protective coating of Brazilian carnauba wax and beeswax. Feed-n-wax may be used every month or so, or whenever the finish looks faded or dry. It enhances the natural beauty and depth of grain of all woods, finished or unfinished, by using the power of real orange oil along with the finest waxes available. I’ve refinished a lot of wood pieces. Normally I don’t recommend using oils on most modern surface finishes because they don’t do much except attract dust and do little to nothing else. This though, in the right application is a great product. Where this really shines (forgive the unintentional pun) is on older worn out finishes where it can actually penetrate into the wood grain. It’s a very greasy product to work with. But after a few minutes you’ll see the grain has absorbed some of the oils. Bees wax is very soft, this won’t leave much surface protection against liquids or abrasion, so it’s best for furniture that won’t get heavy use like dining tables. But in some of the aging wood furniture I have, and my 5 year old cabinets, I have to give this stuff the 5 stars. It’s not a substitute for a full refinish, but for those old, dull or flaking lacquer finishes that need some lustre, this is a great maintenance choice. It will need reapplication periodically. I recently picked up a sewing machine table from a giveaway pile. The lacquer finish was pretty badly flaking, but the wood is in good condition. This really did it good, enhancing the wood and the beeswax leaving a nice lustre on it. I did have a black ring left behind under a clay plant saucer, so be aware that this isn’t moistureproof like a poly finish, but for a quick and effective rejuvenate on that old dresser or dining room hutch, give this a try. Smells wonderful and is nice and thick, giving your wood a clean shine. I do usually need to go back and wipe down a second time because once it settles it may look spotty. Overall I do love this and would highly recommend.

I used the polish & conditioner on a coffee table with wet marks and bubbles from plants that had too much water, which went unnoticed. The table looked really bad. I used a large amount of product on the rag that came with it. The table really soaked it up. It looks SO much better!
