Use Feed-N-Wax to preserve wood finishes and keep the finish from drying out and cracking. During the life of a tree, the wood is naturally kept in a moistened state. Feed-n-wax helps introduce natural oils to keep the wood from drying out while leaving behind a protective coating of Brazilian carnauba wax and beeswax. Feed-n-wax may be used every month or so, or whenever the finish looks faded or dry. My honest thoughts on this Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish. I first came across this product on a DIY channel where a homeowner was restoring her hardwood floors by only using this one product. So when I got a few pieces that didn't need a full restoration, but just a refresh, I knew this was my time to try out this incredible looking wax. The quality this wax brings is mind blowing. This wax was so easy to use. It absolutely restored my toddlers wooden rocking chair as well as another wood project I've been working on. I barely even used any product as well, and I did not use it sparingly. It dries quickly, and the ingredients are safe for use. If you are looking for a product that will restore your wood's color and enhance the natural wood grain, this is it!! For $6, you really can not beat that. ... show more

    • Give new life to that old worn finish.

I’ve refinished a lot of wood pieces. Normally I don’t recommend using oils on most modern surface finishes because they don’t do much except attract dust and do little to nothing else. This though, in the right application is a great product. Where this really shines (forgive the unintentional pun) is on older worn out finishes where it can actually penetrate into the wood grain. It’s a very greasy product to work with. But after a few minutes you’ll see the grain has absorbed some of the oils. Bees wax is very soft, this won’t leave much surface protection against liquids or abrasion, so it’s best for furniture that won’t get heavy use like dining tables. But in some of the aging wood furniture I have, and my 5 year old cabinets, I have to give this stuff the 5 stars. It’s not a substitute for a full refinish, but for those old, dull or flaking lacquer finishes that need some lustre, this is a great maintenance choice. It will need reapplication periodically. I recently picked up a sewing machine table from a giveaway pile. The lacquer finish was pretty badly flaking, but the wood is in good condition. This really did it good, enhancing the wood and the beeswax leaving a nice lustre on it. I did have a black ring left behind under a clay plant saucer, so be aware that this isn’t moistureproof like a poly finish, but for a quick and effective rejuvenate on that old dresser or dining room hutch, give this a try. This product makes oak wood furniture new again. Using OOO steel wool, go over wood well and clean off with damp cloth, then dry. The Feed N Wax is easily applied as instructed onto the wood. It dries quickly. When the wood is buffed over, the color and grain of the wood comes alive with a beautiful shine. This product is very effective and I wouldn't use any other. Smells wonderful and is nice and thick, giving your wood a clean shine. I do usually need to go back and wipe down a second time because once it settles it may look spotty. Overall I do love this and would highly recommend.

Just ordered my second bottle. This stuff is great, I refinished furniture, painting it and staining, and I use it over the paint and the stain and sometimes even in drawers when they look dry. I’ve even used it on the drawer glides to help with gliding and it works great.
