I'm in love with this shed. We have a smaller one in the back, so we were familiar with the process. It's not hard to put this together, although some instructions are not crystal clear. Don't worry. You can do it. The shed that we have up now had some issues with Lifetime's latest latch mechanism, but eventually we leveled everything out just right and now it opens and closes with no issues. It's pretty water resistant, even with our heavy rains. And ot holds holds more storage than I'd expected. The quality is great and it is aesthetically pleasing. ... show more

Bought this building last October, 2022. I had it put on a solid wooden foundation due to the location I wanted it being very uneven. It went up with ease, no problems at all. There was enough room for me to put all my woodworking equipment (on shelves), saws, etc as well as my Cub Cadet tractor and my Harley Fat Boy. Plus I was able to squeeze a small freezer in there too. Now Your not gonna be able to tap dance in this thing after all my stuff is placed in there but at least it's in the dry and all together. I give 4 stars and not 5 because of the instructions book not to clear on the steps to follow, definitely you need a helper, but is a nice shed really sturdy and looks good one's finished RECOMENDED!!

    • Not as sturdy as I expected
Thankfully where it was put together, it is secure on 2 sides of it, if it were put were it is exposed to winds on all sides, it might not survive the winds around here, even tho it is rated to. Too many airholes, does not fit tight enough. The instructions were not as easy to read, glad they had photos to look at to help put it together. Takes 3 people minimum and appro 12 hours to put together. Looks Nice, but had to modify a few things to make everything fit properly. The doors are still not exactly fitted well, and some of the hardware does not work at all. I do not think it was worth the high price for it, but I needed one asap. ... show more

Not having a garage or basement, I needed storage space. This shed is a good size. It took 2 handyman a day and a half to assemble. The assembly time included building a sturdy platform that was required. The weather treated lumber supplies for the platform added an additional $300 to the cost, plus $700 for labor. Nothing is cheap these days. The total cost was about $2900 with supplies and installation. Didn't want to spend that much but I wanted the storage space. I would have preferred a more substantial product which would have been wood shed, but that would have been double the price And would require maintenance. The shed is a basic shed made out of plastic that has to be secured to a hard level surface. Assembly not a took a lot longer then expected. big deal did take three people to get it done in one day. Make sure you install every bracket and shelf so this will be as close to stable as possible. One of the biggest problems other then missing parts terrible instructions and flimsy material was the delivery. It was delivered on a long pallet which doesn't even fit on the drop gate from the delivery truck they were barely able to get it inside my gate before they had to drop it and leave it. Was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday, then on Wednesday, then they said it would be the next week finally showed up on Thursday was supposed to be here between 11:00 and 2:00 showed up after 3:00. The delivery company and the lack of communication between Amazon the delivery company and the customer was horrific this is probably the worst delivery experience I have ever had with Amazon. What's the point of Amazon Prime when you don't get good service. I would NEVER reorder the shed. I would not use this delivery firm. THIS SHED WILL NOT HOLD UP IN WARM OR HOT WEATHER. SCREWS POP OUT ROOF WARPS. iT WILL PROBABLY HAVE LEAKS IN THE RAIN. DO NOT BUY A WASTE OF MONEY ... show more

Was I frustrated trying to put it together, YES..... But you really need to weight out other factors. The most important to me was the price for a wood shed these days. With the gov. not managing the forests anymore in Washington state the price of lumber is priced very high. I saved money by buying this shed so I guess the hassle of trying to put it together was forgivable. I do not recommend this shed if you are not handy or if you do not understand how framing works. This has to be on a level surface and each piece must line up or you will get further from square. Take your time and it will be fine. Also I had a broken piece and it was sent out no questions asked ...except what is my address and what part I needed. ... show more

It took a bit to put together, but once it was, it is great! Sturdy and weatherproof. No air gaps at all so it stays warm and dry. I ended up buying a keeter brand one for my chickens thinking it was like these...not even close! If you need a great shed that you can practically live in, get these sheds!! Not enough screws, could include another shelf but great, would like to see them cheaper but worth the saving up for it! ... show more
