These must be perfectly level when you install them or the pieces won’t fit together.. go ahead and invest in Stanley power levelers, they will save you so much time. Build the deck as they instruct you to do, and then use the levelers to make it right. If it sags, you’re screwed. If it bows, you’re screwed. Then, assembly takes all day. Two people. For the price it’s One of the best “Sheds” to buy if you prefer to “Assemble” a “Snap Together Kit” using a drill driver and save a ton of money. I rather enjoyed it. The floor, walls and roof are plenty tough and sturdy. Two “Lifetime Shed” 8 X 15 assembly videos on YouTube were very very helpful “together” with the “Instruction / REFERENCE BOOK” provided. 2 days to build the foundation with posts being in concrete and 2 days to put up the shed with the help of my girlfriend working 8 hour days. I’ve worked maintenance most of my working career and I found the instructions very difficult to understand. The QR codes provided on the instructions would not load the videos. Very frustrating! So, common sense kicked in and we figured it out on our own and got it done! ... show more

This is my second Lifetime 8x15 shed , the first had leaks from the skylights that were deteriorated and the whole cap part of the roof warped and lifted ......I'll get back to that . Another lesson learned , the first platform I used 2x6's frame with 4x4 legs and 1/2" treated ply for the top . The plywood rotted and gave out , it's best to use decking planks , as you see in pics and I painted as well . As far as the legs go , if in doubt add more legs . Most of the weight is on the sides but don't forget the middle , add braces . Since this was my second shed I saved the metal reinforcement for side panels from old shed so now this new shed has double . Let's get back to the skylights and the cap that curled , the cap can be fixed by using an adhesive chalk along the seam and screws with fender washers . The skylights I am going to gets aluminum roll flashing , cut a piece to cover each light and use the same chalking with screws and fender washers . Skylights are useless anyway . I believe that I can get 20 years out of this new shed with the improvements . ... show more

Well, it looks nice when completed, but getting there...not so good. The directions that came with the shed are horrible. Very difficult to understand and no notes on the "tricky" parts. The video makes it look so easy...WRONG!! My husband and I did it but it took awhile and there was lots of yelling( my husband is experienced and an auto mechanic). You need to really study the directions since they are not very clear. And, you might have to view the video lots of times. Also, screws strip out easily, even with hand tightening. Good Luck. On another note, I had to call their customer service and he was terrific!! ... show more

Product came 11 days early which was great. 3 boxes in great shape and good delivery as promised !!! They were heavy so take time to move. Assembly went smoothly as did by myself . Be sure to layout all material for proper sequence to install. READ INSTRUCTIONS and understand. Only problem was all six shelf supports were the same not 3 left and 3 right for proper use. Plenty of hardware included. Cordless drill-screw gun makes it s breeze. ... show more
