After several of my less expensive electric clippers became dull, I was tired to replace them. I bought this 2 months into the pandemic, and I still use it 4 years later! (Except when I get tired of cutting my own hair and everybody else's in the family, I'll go to a barber). It's not too expensive, and I got its money's worth after only 5 cuts. It's sturdy, solid, a little heavy (as most quality items are), and doesn't get dull. I'd buy again.

These guards are amazing. They fit with no problem, they have two magnets on them so they snap on perfect 👌 these will not pop off for nothing. You have to force them off.

Let me just say, I've been cutting hair since I was 8yrs old, I'm now 32.The past 10 years were professionally and wish that this product was available back in the day. I've had the same set since its release. That being said, I've become accustomed to these magnetic guards and love them with all my heart and wouldn't buy anything else, of course until something better comes along. The only issue I've had with these and let me just say it's TOTALLY MY FAULT, I forgot them in the Barbicide for about a week because I went on a trip. I thought they were ok, maybe slightly warped, a little soft and flexible, but I dried them off and went to work on my own head. When I got done I pulled the guard off and one of the magnets came off. Maybe because the Barbicide and the warmth of the clippers stressed the cavity where the magnets sit. I don't know, I'm not a scientist. I'm just a forgetful Barber that lost a set of the Best Damn Guards Ever Known to Man. Damn they lasted a very long time. I'd say like idk maybe 5-6 years. If it wasn't for that trip I'd probably still have them still. point of the story....... If you have your clippers properly gaped and keep them out of Barbicide for more than a week. 1 or 2 days shouldn't hurt them.. ;-) these would probably last forever..
