It charges faster than expected and is very user friendly for beginners. This scooter is built like a tank and has a very high build quality. It has two speeds and is very capable even when climbing hills, which is one of the best in its class. I rode ten miles today and still had four bars left on the battery, which proves its long range. In addition, the dual shock absorbers ensure a comfortable ride. I also added a reflective triangle to it for added safety during nighttime riding. If you are considering buying an electric scooter, I highly recommend the Hoverfly 550w.

It’s perfect for getting around quickly and easily and I love the adjustable seat, which makes it comfortable for longer rides. Love this scooter! I use it at horse shows to travel between stalls, pens and RV. Holds a great charge and zippy. Seat makes it steady for this 60 year old to use. Lights helpful for night riding.

The ride is super smooth thanks to the large wheels and rear suspension — you barely feel the bumps. The seat is wide and comfy, perfect for longer trips around town. I love the extra touches like the sturdy phone holder and rear basket, which is super convenient for quick errands or carrying a backpack. These scooters are complete junk. I’ve had it for 4 months now and already the battery is shot. I’ve had it sitting on my back porch for over 2 weeks now. When I looked at it yesterday, the back tire was fine. Today it’s flat. How does a tire go flat when you don’t even ride it? And I just discovered that the same people who make these scooters also make the GoTrax scooters. I had the same issue with the battery with my GoTrax scooter. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to get a decent scooter.

#2 UPDATE - still love this little scooter, and I know it is likely not great to have to commute when the roads are still icy early in the morning... But the second it even senses a little slippery anything it suddenly becomes a confused ice skate you feel like you need to pilot to control. It's fine. I'm fine. Just if you have to drive on slippery surfaces, maybe this isn't the best choice, unless I can slap tint snow tires on this puppy! *UPDATE after a 17.5 mile very hilly ride: By very hilly I mean if I wasn't going up a hill, I was going down one for all but 4 miles of that. Did I get up every hill? Even the really steep ones? Yes. Did I have to walk the scooter up at any point, no. I did have to use my Flintstone feet for two particularly steep hills. But I am not complaining. I ended the trip with 2 battery bars still left, even. If you are shorter than 5'0 I don't think you could safely use your Flintstone feet to go up hills, your feet will not reach the ground enough. I'm yubba dubba doo'ing with the balls of my feet over here at 5'2. I'm 5'2 and 120lbs. I would not want to be any shorter or much heavier and riding this. SIZE My feet can't touch the ground flat while seated. I can get my toes down enough though. However it is a bit sluggish getting going up any hill, if I was heavier I would need to use my feet flintstone style, but that would not work since my feet don't touch the ground very well. All that being said, it is a nice little scooter. I chose this one after realizing that my balance is not on point for the stand up e scooter I got. SPEED It rides very smoothly, it does have some zip once it gets going. Going down a hill in a school zone (after school, I'm not a lawless heathen) the speed sign that tells cars how fast they are going in the school zone got me at 24mph. Not bad. SEAT The seat is very cushioned and large in size. The cushion is helpful, the size is a bit daunting when you're pocket sized though. It will take some getting used to. My sit bones are a little weary after about an hour on it. BRAKES The brakes work very nicely. So nicely that if you do like I did, you too can stop so quickly you might go flying through the air. Or be reasonable and feel the brakes out before just using them like you know them already. LIGHTS and KEY The lights work well and are bright. The keys come as a set of three, all on one ring. I just need to remember to separate them so when I lose the one, I'm not misplacing all 3. TERRAIN I like this scooter. It is sturdy and it feels safe. It meets my needs. I live in a hilly rural woodsy village. Some roads are actually road. Some roads are dirt and rock. This works flawlessly on either and transitions between the two with no issues. It is a bit sluggish getting going on the steeper hills, and one hill I did need to try to use my feet flintstone style, but that was a little adventurous at my height using just my toes. But it was a steep steep hill. I literally live on a hill at the bottom of a hill, it's all hills. This little thing is getting it done.

The media could not be loaded. This was perfect! The scooter was so easy to use and very fun to ride. My kids and I love to use it to ride to the parks or go on small errands around my neighborhood! It’s very practical and the basket feature is amazing. You can store many items like a backpack, purse, water bottles, etc. all without it falling out when using it. The range on this is also great! The battery life is able to take my kids to school and back without dying. You don’t have to worry about the mobility as it is easy to steer and almost impossible to fall off of. Overall this was definitely worth the value for the money!!! Invest!!
