  • VERY COMFORTABLE, EASY TO ASSEMBLE NOT PERFECT
Style: T5 Red
I received the T5 four days ago. Assembled in 20 minutes - could not have been easier! Read the manual first, it will save you time! Gone on a one hour to two hour ride each day. Took about 25 minutes for me to grow comfortable as the driver. The sidewalks around here (Boston suburb, 25 miles west) are not in the best of condition which calls for a lot of very slow driving. The T5, I find, is amazing. I have only two things I would change 1. the basket is too small to be of much use (no big deal, really) 2. The plug in for charging is in a horrible place (both places in fact). They require me to kneel on the ground. Getting down isn't so bad but getting up with my legs! Not so easy. Small complaints. Some questions, a) can the battery be charged a little? (drive to supermarket, 5 miles and charge the T5 while I shop (1 hour)? b) When I stop at a traffic lite, I turn the T5 off and turn it back on when the walk sign comes on. Doing this has brought the electric power reader to go from whatever it is back to full (5). Why? This is a quite technical question, I know. To summarize: very easy to assemble, seat etc. easy to adjust, runs very well, high setting truly moves (I rarely run it higher than half power and often down to 1/3 power), seat is very comfortable - as is the machine in full (I weigh 190 pounds and am 5'8" (I know way too heavy). A real concern I had when looking at scooters was comfort since I would be driving for hours - weather permitting! The T5 couldn't be more comfortable. Thinking about bringing a spare battery to increase distance. Don't know if this is possible. Right now a cane holder is a must get (too bad I can't fit my rollator!). 4 days is too short a time to truly know the machine. I hope to follow up this review after a couple of months. It has been months and a lot of miles! Like the T5 but don't love it. I am learning some of its challenges. Distance - claim 16 miles. Two trips of 9 miles round trip with a one hour break after 4.5 miles. Both times the Hoverfly T5 ran out of juice after 8 miles. Managed to squeeze half a mile additional by resting for 10 minutes and driving 29 feet on the residual power. Had to push the T5 the last1/2 mile. Easy to push if you have a good back. I don't but got it home. Speed during the 9 mile trips was 1/2 power. Time to drive 4 1/2 miles 2 hours. Another lesson I learned concerns the wheels. Solid tires No. Inflatable tires Yes. The sidewalks around here are just in such poor condition things were being thrown out of the basket. One 4 mile trip with stop at 2 miles, resulted in driving home in snow! Didn't know - but should have - T5 = no traction in snow. Another 4 mile trip resulted in a 2 hour "rest" period which resulted in my driving home in the dark. Better lights were needed. Ask the drivers, they'll you! I am out running errands and taking rides every day there isn't snow on the sidewalks. I trust my T5 and really like it but the 6 mile limit per charging is a serious drawback. As for chatting with the manufacturer, I can't figure out how to contact them except through snail mail. So that's my update. Still like it but 8 miles per round trip are too few. Supermarkets let me charge the T5 while shopping. But can't walk well enough! Now if a rollator would fit on the T5 ... ... show more

  • Good quality
Style: T4 Blue
I love my scooter but my feet won’t fit on floor of cart, so they are up and it kind of uncomfortable to be up so high. But brought it for my trip and grocery shopping. I took a ride to mailbox with my 4yr old on lap. It fast when you want it too. I’m 67, have nerve damage in feet. 5.6 and 220lbs. I fell the day I put together because my shoe got caught in the safety wheel so I removed it for now. Took it on my trip! The ride was smooth and it can go fast. But the turns are too narrow.it goes left and right turn at about 1/4 of a turn not wide at all! I got stuck on a bridge and bathroom trying to turn.i want to return and find something else. But don’t want an hassle.because I was approved for the payment plan. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY! IF IT BREAKS YOUR ON YOUR OWN
Style: T4 Red
I purchased the T-4 scooter in December for my elderly mother, and it completely broke after just a 1 month of normal use. When I reached out for help, I discovered the company has no phone support or customer service number—only email. And even that’s useless. They send parts for you to fix it yourself. All I’ve gotten are pre-populated, automated responses with no real help from a live agent. No offer to repair or replace the scooter. Extremely frustrating experience. Poor quality product and even worse customer service. I would never buy from this company again. Update: the customer service agent Lydia is sending out scooter parts without fixing the issue. She’s ignoring my emails and just sending parts. I believe they’re still selling this scooter under a different name . They are refusing to fix the scooter and want you to be a technician and fix it yourself. I literally have no knowledge of how to fix scooters. A total waste of money. I recommend anyone that has this scooter and is having issues to report this company to the consumer protection bureau ... show more

  • Very sturdy, high quality scooter!
Style: T4 Red
This scooter is perfect for my 80 year old mother. She still loves to get out and about and this will allow her to go places that have a lot of walking. We live in Orlando, so this will be great for taking her with us to the theme parks and malls for shopping! It’s a great quality. The paint job on the red scooter is gorgeous! My mom hopped right on and was driving it so easily! I love that it has a backup horn and stabilizers. Also a headlight! It is very sturdy! It came packaged very good and easy instructions. It is a great value! We are very happy with everything about this scooter! A+++ ... show more

  • Seat is tiny, no room for feet
Style: T4 Red
I'm a big person with long legs but I'm not that big. I'm only 5'8“. The seat is so low and so tiny that my legs are crunched up and my back hurts riding it. The foot rest area is way too close to the seat, and the floor is too short for adult feet. The foot rest is at a weird angle. You don't put your feet at that angle unless they are extended out in front of you, and you can't do that with this. It's also really heavy. I guess it's probably sturdy. It goes fast and smooth and is able to go over bumps on the sidewalk and up and down hills. Seems like it probably has a good battery life. If I can't find a bigger seat and some kind of leg rests, I'm gonna return it unfortunately. I really don't like returning things this size. Edit: I bought a Ticsea universal forklift seat with adjustable mounting underneath and it fixed the comfort problem. It's even heavier now, but it's comfortable. Here's the seat: https://a.co/d/5cnR7DE ... show more

  • Easily takes me everywhere in street or shopping areas.
Style: T4 Blue
This was a fantastic purchase. While waiting for a lung transplant I needed something to move around both in the street, shopping areas, etc. The price was good and thought it could work. I moved around without issues. Very easy to drive with very slow to 5k/hour speeds and reverse as well. It takes two to put it in the car (approx 45kg) which is usually not a problem since my wife was always with me given my condition. Battery lasts for approx 15 miles and battery indicator tells you when charging is advisable. ... show more
