I mean, its hard to really say much else. Its a pack of yellow sponges of roughly the same size that are being sold for pottery work. As such, they work. The only puzzling thing is that they're not nice perfectly round sponges like in the photo. They sort of look like someone hacked them off a sponge tube using a machete. They work fine for cleaning slip off and things like that, but I'm not sure I'd use them as a wet surface to throw against in lieu of a more precisely shaped round sponge. I'd be worried about the uneven surface creating uneven pressure, but on firmer clays it probably wouldn't be noticeable. But given how quickly sponges used for cleaning slip, cleaning the wheel, etc get worn out, a cheap set of sponges is always good to have on hand. I wouldn't use my "good" sponges for that, anyway.

These sponges have many uses which makes them very handy. Like any sponge it will deteriorate when used on rough surfaces. I use it to blend my artist pastels.

As a potter, I know you never can have enough sponges! These are just a bit smaller than the ones we generally use but I actually like the size. It fits my hand nicely. The sponges appear to be quite dense so I don’t expect them to fall apart right away like some of the ones I have bought in the past, but time will tell. Nothing I love more than brand new sponges in my studio!

Can you every have too many sponges in the pottery world, absolutely not. These came vacuum packed. They do come back to life when opened (some take longer than others). They are not quite what I was expecting, but still very useful in clean up and on the wheel. Not sure how long each will last, only time will tell.

When I opened the package to see the sponges vacuum sealed, I was thrilled. No chance of mold grow on these sitting on a shelf when there is no air to allow it. Wonderful, and thank you. Also...made it really easy to toss into a supply drawer until I was ready to open and inspect. That way you could store quite a few without taking up any space tp speak of...a big plus when your small studio has to support lots of different kinds of media and all the associated tools. Very happy, will get again.

These come vacuum sealed and after a day expanding, some were still a bit wonky and pointy. Decent sponges. Tested and they do what they’re made for. Not sure about the longevity yet, but time will tell.
