My 7 year old son has wanted a Hoverboard for a while now. His birthday was coming up and so again, that was his only wish. So I got to searching on Amazon and this one had some of the best reviews so I went with it. Fast forward to when my now 8 year old son was opening his gift. He LOVED it!! The colour, how light it is to carry but the best thing for us as parents was how silent it is when he glides across the house! He has one of those crazy carts and they are so loud. We sort of expected this one to be somewhat loud. Not even! He figured out how to use it within a couple of tries with our help, and by the 3rd try he was a little Pro. I was worried it would move too fast, but it is reasonably paced and he's learning what to do to move fast. I would definitely purchase it again, as it's easy to use and ride, definitely worth every penny, and it hopefully lasts him long, but mainly just for the look on his face! All he could master was, "Brooooooooooooo!!!! What???!!! Bro!!!! I love the colour, I love how it looks, I love everything! I'll never walk anywhere again!!" Do not buy this brand. This is the second hoverboard of this brand that I’ve bought and neither one lasted more than 4 months before electrical issues.
