I am very much a picky person when it comes to shoes. I think I've only ever found one pair of shoes that I truly love and feel are perfect. My family and I are going on a camping trip and I wanted something similar to a boot without the stiffness and weight. Found these. I initially ordered an 8 wide. They were to tight and short in the toe area for my liking. I went up a half size to 8.5 wide. I'd say they feel pretty comfortable and I have room for thick hiking socks. However for whatever reason the right toe box is ever so slightly narrower than the left. That's me being picky. Overall I'd say these are pretty awesome shoes. They have the tread I was looking for and provide ankle support that a hiking boot would but without the weight. They feel like my on shoe joggers. Will report back after our trip to see how they hold up but overall pretty happy with these. ... show more
