The media could not be loaded. Beware: screws included did not fit the E3 pro. The product clearly advertises that it is compatible with the E3 pro, however even without attaching the seat, I was unable to get any of the included screws to fit into the sockets. They fit the screw holes in the seat itself but are definitely too small to fix anything to the base of the E3 Pro. Also, you need to take off the bag to be able to turn the included Allen wrench on the back two screws. I only found all this out after I had ripped open the holes in the deck of my new E3 pro and spent an hour trying to get the thing to fit. I had to use my dirt bike repair stand. My own Allen wrench. And then I found out the screws were simply too small. No idea why they’d market a product as compatible with a certain scooter when that is clearly not the case. ... show more

    • Fantastic seat as long as you're exactly as tall as the segway engineers
I picked this up for my Segway F3 as I wanted a more comfortable moped like ride and a lower center of gravity. In many ways this is a fantastic product. It's very comfortable and was a snap to install. Segway has a video which goes over the install process for the various models and seat comes with full written instructions as well. So no problems there. I decided to detach the bag as I live in a city and it's a bad idea to have something that is only closed by a zipper if you're going to lock up and get the shopping done. It's either going to be emptied of anything it contains or used as a urinal. Possibly both. Which is a shame as having a basic lock on the bag wouldn't have been too difficult to install. But if you're using it to just ride around the neighborhood or to commute and will store the scooter in your office it's pretty handy. The cushion is really plush and comfortable. It's big so you can shift your weight around to find a comfortable spot. I did have to turn off traction control as the shift in weight meant that the rear wheel didn't have as much support and it was reading that as the wheel spinning so it kept cutting the power. Once I turned it off it was fine. Will just have to be more careful on wet roads. Being seated does help with balance so hopefully that will make up for it. The reason I'm giving it two stars is that there is no way to adjust the height of the handlebars or the seat. Which means that if you're not exactly the height of whatever executive who signed off on the specs you are going to have a crap time riding it. I'm too short, when I sit down and grip the handlebars my hands are now at shoulder level which is how absolutely ZERO bicycles, motorcycles, or mopeds are designed because it's awkward and not comfortable. That's a stupidly huge miss on Segways part. For a company that prides itself on usability they missed one of the biggest ones, humans come in a wide variety of heights and things need to be adjusted as a result. I'd send it back but it's still a better experience than standing for long periods of time and there doesn't appear to be any alternative products. ... show more

    • Comfortable Seat, Works with F3 Pro model
Really love the feeling of this seat on my F3 Pro. Fitted like a charm and being a 100kg guy sitting on this and daily commuting more than 15kms one way is nothing but luxury. Definitely recommended. Totally worth the upgrade.
