i Purchased as a special gift for my husband's 65th birthday. It was delivered in a very heavy box as you can imagine and had damage (torn & open) on one end. The bicycle itself appears to be in good shape but the hardware is missing. I'm guessing that it probably was in a sealed bag which was lost during delivery. This seems like a simple issue to fix however I have attempted to contact Hoover on 4 occasions, and I have never received a response. I can't rate customer service, as I have received none. The phone number listed is false. It simply advises you to go online. I have filled out the online form on 3 occasions since Dec. 28th, a full month, with absolutely no response. The silliest thing is that all it would take is them sending me the small pack of hardware requested. It takes specific screws not easily found. Amazon has been delightful in offering us a discount due to our issue but we still haven't been able to purchase the hardware locally. So Beware before you order this ebike! ... show more

My wife and I both love this e-bike. This bike is very well built, you feel safe and secure regardless if you want to use it at higher speeds (like me :)) or slower speeds like the wife. Fanatics tires and frame. Speed modes are helpful. I use the throttle mainly in Manhattan with the congestion however in quieter areas or open road I find myself using the pedal assist mode from 1-3 and enjoy the chill ride. Play with the settings on the shocks for smooth roads or if you enjoy a bit of off-road adventures. I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

Missing parts at delivery, and it took several weeks for the customer service to send them. Brake pads and tires are low quality, fully worn after 3 months of daily use. Derailleur and throttle screws didn't last 3 months neither and we had to find alternatives to fix these critical parts. Ok the ride looks awesome, but at this price this low level of quality is not acceptable. ... show more

This is the coolest item I have ever purchased. So easy to unpackage/assemble and operate. Im a fairly big guy at 6ft 240lb. Have taken this out on just a few test drives and it handles me fine. Went out for an hour on a fully charged battery w/o losing a bar. Comfortable, eye catching and well built with mostly all the bells and whistles. Could have used a rearview would be only suggestion. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and have ridden it almost every day to work and it is absolutely amazing. The throttle is super intuitive. The headlights shine bright enough to be seen by everyone in the road. It is incredibly fun to ride, I find myself just riding around for fun. 10/10
