    • Pretty end product but terrible assembly process
These sconces are aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It draws attention and something about the rustic yet modern design makes it captivating. Once mounted onto the wall, it looks great. The assembly, however, was less than desirable. It took a very long time to assemble because the screw holes were not perfectly aligned. While I didn’t have to drill new holes, it did require a lot of trial and error to try to align them to a workable state. The best way to align the pieces is to not tighten the screws immediately but rather tighten it just enough that there is some wiggle room…this will allow you to find an acceptable alignment between all the holes before finally tighten them all down. ... show more

This is a great set of wall lights and they give off that perfect rustic farmhouse style we were looking for in a light fixture. Each light is a single light with a cord that plugs right into an outlet. The cords are about 6 to 7 feet long so have a nice reach for behind my bar. You have to put the brackets together and the holes are a pain to line up but when you get it just right it goes in. I used a stud finder and decided to mount them both with longer screws and they sit perfect on my walls. They give off a nice light for my bar area and look really nice. The sconces are sturdy and come with the rope attached. Each sconce has its own button. These are super easy to put together and set up. They really look like upside down mini rustic bird cages. Don't get me wrong, I love that about them. I opted to use a smaller light bulb which gives them a soft amber glow. The only thing that is an eye sore is the plain wood. I did get some chalkboard white paint. I think they would blend in much better with my decor. ... show more

Love the look of these lamps and the fact they do not need to be hard-wired. They replaced a torchiere style floor lamp in a corner, hung at right angles to each other. Such an improved and updated look! I decided to stay with the natural wood (but that can change at anytime if the mood strikes). I imagine one very determined person could install the lamps but having one to hold in place and the other to attach worked perfectly (you actually will want to measure distance from ceiling to get both lamps hanging evenly) and, also, a level came in handy for us).
