  • Great faucet
So amazing for the price. I looked because my old one was leaking. There were some price gouged crazy high and this was more in my price range. It works great on both settings and is really pretty too

  • Great faucet for the price
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this faucet to replace a brand name faucet I had purchased from a home improvement store. The brand name version cost twice as much and its functionality had degraded over 3 years. A bit disappointing. Originally I was going to give this 4 stars. I decided to use it a while before rating it. The one thing that struck me initially was the water flow did not stop immediately when you turned the faucet off. The off switch on the spray head was instantaneous. I have included a video to show what I mean. After using it for several weeks I decided the slow turn off was not really an issue worth derating the faucet. Hence the 5 stars. I liked the idea of the sprayer hose being integral to the spout. I wanted to be able to use the sprayer to fill the tank on my Keurig coffee maker. The documentation said the hose would stretch 20”. There is a weight that clamps to the hose under the sink. It is there to cause the spray head to retract when you let go and to hold the spray head flush to the spout. The hose is in the shape of a U under the sink. The weight needs to be attached to the bottom of the U or higher in order to create the necessary tension. This effectively shortens the travel of the hose by one half. So when the weight is clamped to the hose according to the directions you get approximately 10” of travel. As you pull out the sprayer the hose/weight is pulled up until the weight runs into the under side of the spout. This was going to scuttle my Keurig plans. To regain the full travel of the spray head I unclamped the weight from the hose. I then clamped the weight closed and ran plastic twine through the clamp opening and then tied it in a loop around the hose. Now the weight was hanging from the hose. ( see the picture ) As you pull out the sprayer the hose would travel through the loop of twine and the weight would always be at the bottom of the now shrinking U shape of hose. I now had the full travel ( 19 – 20 inches ) of the spray head and was able to fill my Keurig. You do need to remove obstructions under the sink so the hose can travel easily as the spray head is pulled out or retracted. I originally had a 3 hole faucet and the Hotis one hole faucet covered the extra holes nicely. The video shows how to secure the faucet to the sink using the large “nut”. I would have killed to have that amount of room to work with under my sink. It took two people to secure the faucet to the sink. One to tighten the nut and one to hold the faucet in the correct orientation. The faucet had a tendency to spin as the nut was tightened. In the end this was an easy installation. Took about 1.5 hours. Some of that time was figuring out the hose travel problem. The hardest part was the tight quarters under the sink. That was not a Hotis problem. After a couple days the water flow was noticeably slower. I tore open the sprayer and cleaned the aerator. That fixed the problem. Getting to the aerator was intuitive and easy. I really like the height of arc on the faucet. Makes it easy to work with large pots. After several weeks of use I have found this to be very good faucet for the price paid. Very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Works great but insanely difficult to install - better directions below
I nearly paid a plumber to put this in, and I'm grateful I did not because a plumber would not have had the patience and would likely have wrecked the plastic piece that holds the faucet head on. DO THIS YOURSELF if you buy the unit. It's hard, but not impossible to install yourself. For starters, it took me a LOT of effort before I realized that the blue plastic part that connects to the faucet line comes out. The black plastic piece WILL fit over it if you pull out the faucet line, but you cannot install the rest of the lines if you do it that way. So here's the actual process (from a LOT of trial and error): 1. before you start, get really familiar with all the pieces and how they go together 2. unscrew the blue plastic piece from the bottom of the faucet connector first 3. Screw the red hose into the red labeled connector (hot), the blue hose into the blue labeled connector (cold) 4. Put in the washer, the rubber one, up to the faucet bottom, then push the hoses through the countertop (or the mounting piece if you are using that before the countertop). Push the flatter white plastic washer up the hoses to the top of the threaded piece under the sink. 5. Now the not fun part. Carefully thread all the hoses through the black connector under the sink. It will seem like it's not possible to fit, but it does. Just keep wiggling and wiggling the black connector up until you have passed the faucet connector. You'll have to squish the water lines to get it to move up, but if you don't have the hoses attached, attaching them later is nearly impossible. This takes some time, but if you are lucky, it can go up easily or with great difficulty, but it WILL get up there. Turn the faucet handle where you want it, then hand tighten it without tools, or you will damage the plastic and it will not stay tight. I suspect that those who had theirs professionally installed, the plumber may have broken the black plastic connector trying to wrench tighten, and of course the faucet will not stay in place if that happens. 6. Screw back in the blue plastic piece and attach your faucet to it, and the weight to that line (I used twist ties so it was 'free floating', keeping in mind the good advice from another review here. That's it. Sounds easier to read than it is to do, but once you know how, it isn't so bad. I nearly returned this faucet, because for a time, I thought it was impossible to push that black connector past all the hoses, it was just too small. But that's not the case, the sequence is important. Hope that helps someone, this was a real pain to install, but the result is beautiful and the price was reasonable. ... show more

  • It was good until it wasn't.
The faucet looked great and worked fine for about a year then it started leaking all over everywhere I tried contacting customer service they responded a couple times and then they stopped responding when I told them it was leaking all over the place and if they were going to take care of it with the warranty. The only reason I took a chance with this inexpensive faucet was because of the warranty and now it doesn't look like they are going to fix it or replace it because it leaks multiple places all over and ruined the bottom of my sink cabinet with all the water. ... show more

I like purchasing faucets from Amazon. Always perform your due diligence though. These went in a home that I listed. (I'm a Realtor) However I have also purchased such items for my personal home. To date I have not had any issues. I'd purchase again.
