I had this same brand of heater that looked very similar and it worked extremely well for about two years so of course I was excited when I saw this one. It works ok, not as good as the last one I had. Doesn't get as hot, or heat the room as much. You have to be directly in front of it to feel the heat. It is a little quieter and it oscillates which is something the other one did not do, however I will not buy again because one big concern I have is while it does have tipover protection, I do not believe the unit will shut off if it over heats. There have been a few times now where the unit has been placed to close to things or surrounded ( closed in) by things (unaware) and it kept running. That concerns me greatly. ... show more

While it looks great, works okay and is quiet, I bought it specifically because of the digital appearing controls, which unfortunately really have very limited controls. Temperature is only adjusted in 5 degree intervals! Fan output is single speed and minimal while heating, and not adjustable! I do like the design though, with heating directional and oscillating, especially that the heat is not blowing onto the floor like so many others.. And it functions okay, within its limitations. Just not as impressive as I imagined, just okay (stuck on the single speed disappointment). It is, although, better than the very old noisy one I am replacing, so I am okay with it. One nice feature is that when you manually turn it off the fan runs briefly for cool-down, and re-centers if oscillating, before shutting off. Some may expect instant off, but this cool-down is a nice safety feature. ... show more

This is heater is amazing. My family had to buy this when the main heater in our living broke in the middle of winter and we had no other way of heating the livingroom. For it being such a small size, it had a tremendous effect! Especially since our living room opens into our kitchen and there is no door to close off the two rooms from each other, this little heater was basically heating two rooms at once. The only thing I would change is the setting options. There are only two options for heat (low and high) and a single option for the fan. That's only three options (four if you count the Off option). I would have really liked a medium option for heating and a low and high option for the fan. Regardless, I would definitely buy this again or recommended to others. ... show more

    • Solid, simple product that does what it is intended to do.

Pros: Lightweight, quiet, and good features such as multiple settings for vertical and horizontal directional heating, auto turn off, high or low heating, and settings to reach and maintain specific room temperatures. Most importantly to me, there was flexibility for all these settings so you could manually control the operation of the unit (e.g., run as long as you want without auto turn off, or just run without reference to a specific room temperature). The last room heater I had only ran to specific room temperatures and would turn off and refuse to go on again when it falsely recorded the goal temperature when the room was about 15 degrees colder. I had to throw it away. This one is much better. It also has very stringent safety features such that the unit will not go on unless it is sitting flat on a firm surface. Cons: It could be bigger and warm a little faster, but for the price this is just fine. ... show more
